Got this to leave on the counter, close to the food bowl. I do not recommend this because of the annoying label.The huge label is extremely difficult to remove. Can't peel it off: some of the top layer came off in little pieces, but the glue and paper backing of the label was still attached like papier mache on plastic. Washed with a scrub sponge and dishwasher liquid, then used hand lotion to soften the paper, then isopropyl alcohol to scrub off the paper, then goo be gone to remover the rest of the glue. Label is completely off. Now it smells like petroleum.

Great mini version of the Vault that is the perfect size for travel or your counter top. Saves my wife’s back for not having to bend down to get the dog’s food. It holds 4 pounds so very good for travel or an adventure out with the pups.

This is the second one I have purchased. I still am using the first one and wanted one to keep in reserve or when we went on longer trips. It has a nice compact shape and a wide opening to make getting the food out easy.

We bought this to travel with our dog and it was perfect. It fit a few days worth of food and the scoop it came with was super handy. Highly recommend!

I have lots of different dog treats and hated having all of these bags in my cabinet. Also, I started having ants getting in them. This was the perfect solution! I put all of their treats in it and the ants are unable to get into it. It holds a large amount of treats too! I plan on using it for dog food whenever I have to board them. Great product!

El tamaño es para 1.8 kg de alimento, viene con un “vaso dispensador” que también sirve como tapa. Mantiene en buen estado las croquetas, así que lo recomiendo bastantes

Bought one of these to carry dog food with me on my work trips. Thankfully my dog can come with me on my trips, so I carry this full off kibble, to add a bit onto her raw diet. Keeps it sealed and fresh. Container is pretty solid, bt do not expect it to withstand drops from a cliff/etc. Take care of it and it will last.

I am a big fan of this line of products.The Vittles Vault Jr., is a great way to travel with your dog and not worry about how to take 4-5 days worth of food. I used to do a gallon sized ziplock bag have a scoop in it, or two bags. But those can tear and critters (if camping or cottage) can sniff it out.This is a simple and easy way to eliminate the hassle. Just pour in dog food and you are good to go with a serving cup/bowl to boot. The quality is great and I am very pleased. I keep cat food in the 25 lb. container and daily dog food in a 40 lb. container. The food stays fresh much longer too.Note: when I purchased the Vittles Vault Jr., it came without the pop off cup/bowl. I contacted Amazon and they sent me another Vittles Vault Jr.. Again, no cup. So I contacted the seller and they sent out two lids immediately.Amazon also contacted me and said they had been in touch with the seller and the problem was fixed. I am giving this item a 5 star rating because I have had several of these products and they are worth the money, the customer service both at Amazon and the seller were great and fixed the issue quickly. I really believe the issue I was having was a temporary glitch.I have found these products (the 25 lb. airtight container and the 40 lb. air tight container) to be durable and have lasted for years. I expect the same of this Vittles Vault Jr.If not the case I will update.

Our family has one of the Vittles Vaults that holds approx. 30 pounds of food () and we do like it a lot. It keeps the food fresher and helps to keep the odors down from what otherwise would just be an open bag of kibble (dog food). We've previously used an older Tupperware container for keeping approx. a week or two supply of food in, but that old container was getting long in the tooth and the cap on the opening for it had long since worn down and was no longer able to be clipped to the top so it would flip open easily. Worse yet, the little flap that it would have clipped with wore out and was tearing away. I guess expecting a 25+ year old Tupperware container to hold up forever was more than I should have hoped for (realistically, it had done a great job and given plenty of service, so I have no qualms with needing to retire that old container).One huge advantage that container had, and one disadvantage with the use of this Vittles Vault Jr. container is that the Tupperware container was easy to see through where this container isn't. I wish that this container had some sort of "gauge" on it so I could easily see when it was needing to be refilled. Outside of that small issue, I really don't have any complaints. This works to seal up the food just as its more senior version does, but is smaller and more easily handled to keep a smaller supply of food in.End result, a wish for a small improvement, but otherwise a great product that is easily recommended.
