Used this to replace one of the cheap outlets that are original to our house. Comparable to a Leviton but was available for same day delivery. So far it's worked as it should, no complaints.

I installed these in my shed and they work as good as any other plug. I have nothing negative to say. They have been installed about 4 months now. I use them all the time. No issues. I do always use the lug terminals. I never use the push lock terminals in the back. There is too much risk for electrical arcs and fire.

Needed a replacement outlet for a box which had light switch and outlet in it.The previous switch needed to be replaced and I replaced it with a GE switch which was just a little larger than the previous one so I needed to replace the outlet as well so my cover would be even. So I bought this GE outlet.Installation was a snap. Now, I'm no electrician nor am I a "handyman". I'm more of a geek, but I understand how electricity works. So this comes with all the screws you need including the ground I have a 3-wire system so I attached one to the top, one to the bottom, and then the ground. (or is that called a 2 wire and ground setup? Who knows!) Anyway, the screws tightened well, and the size was perfect.It fits with my switch and my cover very well.I like this GE outlet so much better than the original. It just feels solid. Not sure what else to say except that it works!I hope this review was helpful!
