The grater was easy to put together and even easier to use. I have used it only once so I cannot comment on durability. Do for it fully meets my needs and expectation.

This grater has changed the way I use cheese. I’ve grated both hard cheese like Parmesan and softer cheeses like Cheddar. I will not go back to pre-shredded cheese.Simple, easy to use, cleans like a dream. The suction device holds it firm on the counter.I love really good kitchen gadgets, especially ones that are both functional and fun. This one hits the mark. My only question is : Why didn’t I get one sooner? 😆

I LOVE this slicer/grater! I have sliced potato's and raw beets with no effort at all. I swear a 2 year old could do it! I've also grated parmesan cheese and zucchini. Effortless! It suctions to the countertop and it does NOT move. It assembles and comes apart very easily and the parts are dishwasher safe, however it most cases I just rinse/clean it in the sink when I'm done with it. I didn't believe it when I saw it and read other reviews but this truly is the bomb!

Easy to assemble to use and disassemble for cleaning. Easy to use and I love the fine grater for making carrot salad. Very sturdy and good quality.

Seems reasonably sturdy, easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning. Holds firmly to any smooth surface. Grates hard cheese very well, and also potatoes for making hash browns. Much better than scraping your knuckles on a box grater. Haven't tried the slicer yet, but imagine it would work OK for making vegetable slices as long as you like the fixed thickness of the cutter.

I have bought so many vegetable slicers and graters and have been so disappointed. However, my search for the perfect slicer/grater is over. Enter the Geedel Rotary Cheese Grater/Slicer! Finally ready to lose the barely holding together hand grater. Bought this as a replacement. I LOVE IT. Made lasagna, thought I would give it a try to grate the cheese. I expected I would get those globs of cheese that usually happen, but was pleasantly surprised. Grated up a 16oz block of mozzarella in a couple of minutes (literally), without globs, absolutely no wasted cheese - it was perfect. I cannot wait to make hash browns and grate carrots and slice cucumbers!This grater is a breeze to put together, come apart, and clean too. In less than 5 minutes it was broken down, washed, dried and put back in the box. (save the box for easy storage). I would buy it again, it would make an excellent gift.I wouldn't say it will replace my food processor . . . . but I'll be using it less and this grater more. Very happy with the purchase.

This is a great product. It can handle a lot of cheese at a time into the grater at the top. This attaches with a very solid purchase to a granite countertop and doesn’t move during use. The suction is strong. The crank turns easy and fundamentally - in operational terms - this is a simple machine that works as advertised. Kids can use it without issue.The main drawback of this (and all similar graters of this nature) is that one has to clean it after each use. This can be a chore as opposed simply using pre-grated cheese from the grocery store. That said - the trade off is that blocks of cheese are cheaper. So one has to decide if this trade off is worth it. A major plus to this particular grater is that the parts are dishwasher safe and have held up to that treatment by me for 6 months.The color is nice and it fits into a variety of kitchen colors.
