Dopo più di dieci anni con un portatile ho deciso di ritornare ad un computer fisso. Ho visto questo l'aspetto mi ha conquistato. Le recensioni erano tutte positive quindi ho deciso di tentare.Arrivato nei classici tempi perfetti di Amazon la sera stessa l'ho provato e sono rimasto a bocca aperta per le sue performance! Certo, prima avevo un portatile medio con parecchi anni sulle spalle. Ma con questo Geekom mi sento proprio su un altro pianeta. Avvio veloce, qualsiasi applicazione o gioco provato fin'ora si aprono velocissimamente e non hanno mai un lag o un rallentamento.Appena ho tempo tolgo il vecchio hard disk dal portatile e lo monto all'interno del piccolino. Perché è piccolo, ma con possibilità di qualche upgrade interessante!Quindi, super consigliato!

I originally purchased a mini-mac, never made to my house so I purchased this and it's amazing, not to mention very bougie looking. Can't wait to actually go portable with it

The mini pc worked for over a month and then stopped working. The system updated, and once the updates were installed I was no longer able to connect to Bluetooth, I dis try everything and even factory reset the mini pc, yet the Bluetooth compatible seems to be gone for some reason. I contacted the seller through their website and was offered no help or even bother to help me out to resolve the issue.Don't get me wrong the mini pc is good until it updates and the motherboard and drives become outdated.

I selected this as my personal temporary desktop since I needed to work in another location while my office is remodeled. This computer is great, fast, does the CAD and 3D printer models just fine, no lag. As a basic desktop it's a great price and performance. I've actually started replacing old bulky Dell desktops at the corporate locations with these and similar spec versions as this one. I consider these to be throw-away computers, meaning they are cheap enough that if it's not the hard-drive then it gets scrapped, and we install a new one.

I'm so happy with this purchase I don't know where to begin?!How about:1. Smaller footprint than the Mac Mini that it replaced.2. Whisper quiet -- is the fan even running?!3. Upgrade to 32 GB of RAM was a breeze.4. Multiple monitor ready, USB-A and USB-C ports: score!5. Runs Fedora Linux and a Windows 11 VM easily without breaking a sweat.Oh, just try virtualizing on Apple Silicon -- it's a nightmare. Intel and AMD are the only processors allowed in my house.Thinking of a new mini-PC? Look no further.

Update: the second A8 I purchased died and decided to overheat to the point where touching it was painful. I am trying to get support for it and will modify my rating based on the support I receive.I have several mini PCs I have purchased over the years, and this is the first one with enough graphical power to take when I am travelling to play games in the hotel.The packaging is minimalistic- containing the computer, power cord, HDMI cable and the VESA mounting plate if you want to attach to the back of a monitor.In my case, we bought two - one for me and one for my son to take on a few upcoming trips. I had a pair of portable monitors, and a fold up stand for them, so I thought the install should be quick and easy. However I found the smaller VESA mounting holes would not quite align with the bracket on hte monitor or the monitor stand, so I had to grind the holes inwards - about 1/8" each to get the bracket to align with the holes on the mount and monitor.Otherwise - the install went great- windows 11 was pre-loaded with recent patches, and overall the machines work well. I was playing Warthunder at 90 FPS in medium settings on my wide screen (5120x1440) monitor , and it was even better on the portable monitor running at 2560x1600.The CPU/GPU does get hot in these runs, hitting 85C, but this is an extreme case for a mini pc.I have also tried the USB4 Port with an external GPU using a thunderbolt 3 EGPU adapter, and it worked flawlessly there as well.All in all I am very happy with these units, and decided not to dock a star for the mounting hole issue

I was very surprised how fast the computer is for its size. I needed a another computer that ran Microsoft and this exceeded my expectations.

Acheté pour l'anniversaire de ma nièce, il a tout ce que j'attendais. J'avais déjà le même processeur dans un précédent ordi et comme j'en étais content, j'ai repris la même configuration, eul bémol l'option 1 go pour le disque n'est pas propose.

Wenn man die Zeit erlebt hat, als Rechenpower auch automatisch eine entsprechende Größe des PC-Towers erforderte, kann man eigentlich nur schwer nachvollziehen, wie viel Rechenpower in so einen kleinen Kasten passt. Bei der Bestellung waren wir auch noch etwas skeptisch und hatten im Hinterkopf "wenn es nicht funktioniert, geht die Rückabwicklung bei Amazon ja kinderleicht" - aber neugierig waren wir schon.Hintergrund der Anschaffung ist, dass wir für die Softwareentwicklung zwei unterschiedliche Versionen unserer Entwicklungsumgebung nutzen. Dazu nutzen wir PCs mit ordentlicher Ausstattung aus dem Preissegment um die 1400 €, auf denen beide Versionen der Entwicklungsumgebung parallel betrieben werden können. Meine Frau wollte aber jede Version auf einem eigenen PC betreiben - 1400 € wollten wir aber auch nicht ausgegeben. Da der PC A5 auf dem Papier von der technischen Ausstattung her mehr als ausreichend aussieht, haben wir uns auf das Abenteuer eingelassen, diesen Mini-PC für 381€ als Entwicklungs-PC zu testen.Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Bei diesem Gerät hat man den Eindruck, dass die Kompaktheit ihm sehr gut bekommt und alles noch einen Ticken schneller läuft. Die eingebaute SSD ist sehr schnell, CPU und GPU können nur mit großer Mühe ausgelastet werden.Am Anfang waren wir etwas über die Lautstärke des Lüfters erschrocken. Kurz nach dem Einschalten machte er sich gleich lautstark bemerkbar und regelte auch nicht runter. Da die vorinstallierte Windowsversion schon etwas älter war, wurden gleich viele Updates geladen und installiert. Sobald die Installation der ganzen Updates abgeschlossen war, regelte der Lüfter aber richtig runter und war ab da nur noch selten zu hören.
