They are mimicking TC instruments- They are not. Extremely disappointing quality. There are no TC inserts in any of the instruments.The forceps- jaws were scissoring not meeting at a point.Both the needle holders did not have TC inserts and the jaws were smooth- Needle will rotate- and the most pathetic was the lock. I had to file the lock and mend myself to make them workable.The scissors were totally useless- specially the curved one- the edges were overriding and blunt. There was gap between the arms at the level of the joint. Basic construct of the scissors was totally out of mark for being a surgical instrument.The seller should not sell these instruments before checking their quality. These are microscopic instruments used in surgeries. They are not some fancy toys. Improper instruments have repercussions in operation.Please any concerned surgeon DO NOT BUY them.

This seemed like a great value. The curved needle holder worked great, good spring action on opening/closing. Unfortunately, the straight needle holder did not function properly. It would get stuck in the closed position; I would have to lift the spring up with my thumb in order for it to open again to load the needle (No self recoil). The suture forceps were a good length, were easy to use, and properly grasped suture without it sliding out when attempting to tie a knot.I ended up returning the kit due to the malfunctioning straight needle holder.
