Fits a 2016 GMC Yukon XL Denali and fixes the GPS connectivity problems. Perfect color match for White frost tricot paint job even after 9 1/2 years. Connectors do match and with 10mm socket it's about 1/2 DIY work. beats going to the dealer.

Fixed my satellite radio signal reception may be blocked. My satellite radio was not working. For a couple days, it had been saying “ signal reception may be blocked”. I wiggled the shark fin antenna on top of my 2016 Yukon and noticed water coming out of it. I assumed that it had leaked and caused a problem with the reception. I read that leaking shark fan antennas was a known problem. After watching a few videos online I removed and then installed the new shark fin antenna. Not really knowing what I was doing it took about two hours. If I knew what I was doing it probably would’ve taken 30 minutes. The original bolt that was attached to the shark fin was completely corroded and must’ve been leaking onto the connections for the satellite radio. Now it works fine and I save myself $500 or $600 by not taking it to my local dealer. If you’re thinking of buying it, I would go ahead and do it. I was hesitant, but I am very glad I bought it.

Pain to get to the bolt for install but the product is fantastic and worked great. You have to drive around in circles slowly to recalibrate compass. Color match was perfect. Drain is in the right spot unlike the original which resulted in failure. Gm should be replacing these for free IMO

I was getting the “signal may be blocked” on my 2017 Sierra 2500hd Denali. It was damaged due to water leaking in. This replacement was a perfect fit. I did switch the covers due to me having the summit white. XM radio works great now!!

For the record, my truck ran fine without this antenna. However, the factory navigation and compass weren't working. Navigation would show me in the middle of some field in a different state. I finally tracked down the likely culprit (this antenna) and swapped it out.Instantly my GPS and compass were back up and running! The install is pretty straightforward- the hardest part is being meticulous about working with the headliner and the retaining clips for the A-pillar. Generally this isn't a hard or even moderately difficult install/swap. There are just several pieces to remove in order to get to the mounting nut of the antenna.
