These are of a great quality at any price but especially for this low price. I enjoy using these in the office to do suturing without an assistant. “Cut-and-sew” is what I had called them.

Suture slips through these so easily at full lock. Fully lock the hegars and then look up at them with light behind - you can see light passing through.

As a surgeon, I am accustomed to quality instruments, which are all very expensive. I purchased this to repair some fabric on my boat. The scissors edges are a bit rough, but for the cost and for what I need it for, I am very pleased with this instrument.
