About this item

  • Pinpoint Underground Pipe Blockages with Precision - 🎯This pipe blockage locator is trusted by homeowners and plumbers to detect underground pipe clogs with ±5cm accuracy. Ideal for resolving issues in sewer lines or drainage systems, Avoid unnecessary wall demolition and reduce time spent locating clogs.
  • Electromagnetic Induction with Deep Signal Penetration - 📡 Using electromagnetic technology, this pipe tracer can detect signals through soil, drywall, and non-reinforced surfaces. Effectively detects obstructions in pvc pipe detection and iron pipe locating, reaching up to 50cm in open, interference-free spaces. (Note: The maximum effective range between transmitter and receiver is about 50CM in open space. Metal or wet objects may reduce the distance.)
  • Optimized for Common Residential Pipes - 🔧 Compatible with PVC pipes, iron, and plastic drain lines, this underground pipe locator tool supports reliable detection in household drainage and wastewater systems. Suitable for both indoor and shallow buried pipes.
  • Simple Audio-Guided Detection - 🧭 insert the blockage emitter into the pipe and move the receiver to locate the strongest beeping signal — this marks the clogged section. With intuitive operation and no complex setup required, it is well-suited for efficient use by DIY pipe repair users, on-site maintenance crews, and professional plumbers.
  • Not for Concrete, Electrical Conduits, or Magnetic Zones - ⚠️ Avoid using this tool in reinforced concrete, electrical conduits, or high magnetic field areas, as these can interfere with detection accuracy. For best results, use in open sewer lines, PVC drainpipes, or buried pipe networks.

Solve the Problem: Are frequent pipe blockages causing disruptions in your daily life? 🚰 The Pipeline Blockage Detector is your solution. Utilizing advanced electromagnetic induction, this device penetrates pipes and walls up to 40 cm thick, accurately locating blockages and significantly improving work efficiency. 🛠️
Work Principle: The operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction. 📡 The strong signal penetration ensures precise positioning, making it ideal for detecting blockages in iron pipes, PVC pipes, water pipes, and wall nails. The pipe blockage emitter and receiver work together seamlessly to identify and locate the exact blockage point.
Work Method:
1. Transmitter: Emits electromagnetic waves.
2. Receiver: Detects the waves and produces varying buzzing sounds based on signal strength to pinpoint the blockage.
3. Step-by-Step Usage:
- Insert the transmitter into the pipeline. 📏
- Use the receiver to detect the strongest buzzing sound, marking the blockage point. 🔊
- Dig out the blockage point with minimal disruption. ⛏️
Note: The detectable range represents the maximum valid distance when there is no obstacle between the transmitter and the receiver in the air. If there is a metal or wet object blocking, the effective distance will become smaller. ⚠️

It worked to find a lost conduit on a 12” concrete tilt wall, but it couldn’t do a 2’ pvc pipe under dirt.

I was hoping to use this to locate my sewer line run. Unfortunately, this thing is only good to a half a meter in depth, in other words, 18 inches. I was really hoping that maybe they were being conservative in their advertisement, but they were not. I’m sending it back.

This does kind of sense where the cable is. The problem is I can't tell what is noise and what is sensor. The scanner was responding to the cable with the cable turned off, and even with everything turned on, it looked like I was getting noise from just regular house outlets. For context, I was trying to trace a sewer line from the main stack of my house to the city sewer line in the street. I got a general idea, but nothing I felt confident enough to dig for.

I just used the detector today to trace the sewer line from my house to my septic tank. I had no problems picking up the signal. I did have a problem at one point pushing past some blockage. However after turning on a faucet in my house, whatever the blockage was floated downstream and I was able to push the detector the rest of the way to the tank. So probably just some toilet paper resting in the line.
