Not sure how much better it is compared to rainx, but it seems to work just as well as that. WIll see how long it lasts as rainx wasn't a super long lasting product.

I sat there 30 minutes following all of the instructions including clearing off the windshield and 10ms between coats.I took it out in the rain two times with one side done and the other side STOCK. And there was ZERO difference at all. So unless I somehow followed the instructions wrong, this thing did nothing for me. Rain-X did better.

Used this on my car, it worked great! I had to clean the windows with a razorblade to get it to the best & cleanest possible for applying this compound. One it was applied water just beads up and drops off. It's great stuff!

If you follow the instruction and get you glass nice and clean before applying this you will not find a better coating. This shed water incredibly well and if put on correctly will last a long time. I use it for the mirrors on our vehicle and it works incredible for keeping the water off them. Even on the cold misty morning where side mirrors are useless under normal conditions this keeps the water beading off.

Like most ceramic coatings, the prep is the most important part of applying this coating. You are going to need to thoroughly clean your windows and most likely use an IPA prep spray to make the adhesion better. If you have a bunch of contaminants embedded in your glass you will want to clay bar and possibly even polish your glass as well. After I cleaned and clayed my glass I followed the directions to apply this to the front and back window of my van, and I love it! The glass is completely clear and free of any streaking as you would expect, and the water beading is phenomenal. I expect this to last at least a couple of years as this is a true ceramic coating and not a spray on like some of the other products.

Make sure that you clean AND claybar your windows before applying this treatment, I made the mistake of forgetting to claybar my wife's side window and you can immediately tell, little specs of crud stuck on it.BUT if you do it right, it is super easy, and functions incredibly well, my Explorer's glass is not only immaculately clean, but it's been resisting the road dust that usually collects on the rear window, which was one of the biggest reasons I wanted this excellent product! It's still shiny after a week of driving around, and a swipe of the finger reveals it's still working incredibly well! I had enough to do my SUV, my wife's (sans the 1 window I will redo when it wears off) and still have leftovers. So the size is good for probably a few cars!Great value for us so far!

I used this on my car’s windshield, and wow—it’s like magic. Water beads up and rolls right off, and it makes driving in the rain so much easier. The kit comes with everything you need, and the instructions are clear. It’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it for the results. My car looks brand new.

My windshield is kind of pitted from following someone hauling sand (and most of it falling off the trailer) plus it has a couple of chips. However, this stuff does make the water bead up and roll off pretty good. I'd buy again.
