This is a clever design. I no longer backpack. I have a CVT off-road trailer with plenty of room for a larger electric grinder but chose this because of its size and design. I've been using a GSI french press for years and I don't know why I waited this long in acquiring one of these JavaGrinders. I'll find out how durable it soon enough.

Great little coffee grinder...we bought 2 of them & gave one to my daughter. Pairs perfect with the jetboil coffee setup. We take ours on road trips across country along with our Silverhook Kodiak Coffee beans. There's nothing better than having a good quality cup of coffee next to a camp fire. This grinder is perfect as long as space isn't an issue for your travels.
