So I got these for my wife's paintball vest and they are perfect. She is 5'4", 120 lbs and the 140 round pods were simply too big. With these she can carry 600 rounds plus the 300 in her hopper and still be very, very mobile in the woods.

Very nice set for beginners, and very cheap. Would recommend. As far as quality, they aren't amazing but they do get the job done so all in all for price and what you get, 5/5.

Simple black paintball pods. They are made of a hard plastic that probably won't ever break under normal use. Only thing is that they are a bit smaller than the average paintball pods but they make for a lighter and smaller package.

Very good quality, tight caps, never had an issue reloading. They've taken a lot of abuse and still look new. Much better than the 100-round rental cups! Easy to clean too!

I was inspired by a video on Youtube to store 22LR ammo for my new Ruger 10/22 Takedown in paintball pods. According to the video, the 140 round pod holds 500 rounds of 22LR, which is plenty, but only one such pod fits in the Takedown bag.Did some research and found that these 100-round pods are the same diameter as 140, just shorter. They are in fact 8.75 inches long and the pouch in the Takedown bag is roughly 18 inches long. I ordered these and can confirm that two 100-round pods fit in the Takedown bag like a glove. Even the flap closes over the pouch with them inside, and they fit so perfectly that you know they won't be sliding around in there. Each 100-round pod holds 400 rounds of 22LR. These feel solid and the lids seem to stay shut well. Can't beat 6 of these for $15!

I'll echo dg113's review from May, 2014. (You can also see my comments/questions on their review.)I will add here that you could fit 425 rounds if you REALLY wanted to fill the tube, but I left it at 400 since I'll be adding a couple dessicant packs to help avoid moisture (there is a lip, but these aren't sealed tubes). All said I am now carrying 1000 rounds of .22lr in my Ruger bag (800 in 2 tubes, and 4 boxes of 50 in one of the outer pockets). If you have a Ruger 10/22 Takedown, and don't want to have to carry ammo separately from the bag, get these tubes!

What can I say, they're pods. They stay closed until I open them. They stay open until close them. They are made thick enough to stand up to the abuse they will receive & they fit in my pod belt nicely. I was pleased with the price & am pleased with their performance thus far!
