Delivered quickly, and well packaged up.Pack contains decent instructions, but to be honest, I didn’t really need them. Trolley is simply to fit, and comes with everything you need….(thank god for the rivets!!). Due to limited access at the stern of my kayak, my only real option was to use the rivets supplied, and have to say, they are solid.All-in-all, really impressed with this product, especially for the price- I would definitely recommend!!!

Get a cheap rivet gun, if you don't have one, and install is fairly simple. It took maybe 20 minutes to install on my Lifetime Tioga/Tamarack Angler, and it works great. If you use it in moving water, like a river, get a bungie for each end so you don't rip the rivets out. Watch install videos on YouTube before you start so everything makes sense.

Hi, I have a Lifetime Tamarack Pro and:1) You need a rivet gun. Buy the harbor freigh one for $4.99. Works like a charm. the rivets that come with this pack are long enought, and I've found zero issues with my kayak.2) You need 2 extra plastic holders to have the line straigh on the kayak side. I saw this on several YouTube videos. Do your research!3) Use bongee cord when you attach both pulleys. Again, use YouTube as the reference.4) Find the video on Youtube from REI where an young lady expains how to tie nodsNo other tools were used apart from a knife, ruler and rivet gun.

Unlike some, the rivets I received were of good quality......maybe they have changed suppliers due to feedback?......it's a good basic anchor trolley kit......not as nice as some, but good for the price....easy install, worked perfectly during a 6 hour fishing trip in less than ideal wind and current conditions....

I did a no drill install on my Old Town Predator. I was going to buy pulleys, a ring and rope separately instead of a kit, but this came in a little cheaper than buying individual components. All I added to it was paracord to secure the carabiners and pulleys to the bow and stern through existing kayak handles in the bow and shallow water anchor system hole in the stern. I also used shrink rap around the knots to keep everything secure give it a nice finish. For my kayak and install technique this was a good kit. I did not use the rivets or other items in the kit so I can't comment on them.

This thing is incredibly sturdy and has tamed my seaghost 130 in my local currents! I can't believe how easy it was to install. I've used several of these, some costing as much as $70 and this trolley is keeping up with them. Thanks for such a deal! EDIT: I have purchased the second one for my son's feelfree lure 11.5. So easy to install that my 10 y/o son was able to install with only my instruction. Can't beat these trolleys!!!!

Though all the parts are not the same, this was much cheaper than the popular brand, is easy to install and will work just fine. I could not buy the individual parts cheaper than this kit. It includes everything that you need, except for a drill, knife and rivet gun (or screwdriver and pliers), including both SS screws/bolts and black rivets with washers. The rivets do not insert easily into a 3/16” or #11 drilled hole, which is probably a good thing as it results in a tight fit. Other than a slightly larger diameter and the gasket, the included rivets are virtually identical to others that I bought from Amazon at the same time. The connecting ring is made of the same plastic as the pad eyes, not steel. The head of a rivet gun will not fit inside the zig-zag cleat to set the rivets. I slipped a metal cylindrical spacer over the rivet nail which allowed me to use the rivet gun (see photo). A similar spacer could be easily made from a BIC pen or a small piece of copper or brass tubing. Or, you might be able to use a screwdriver blade as a spacer between the rivet and rivet gun.I put silicone sealant beneath the rivet heads and under each pad eye and the zig-zag cleat. I also added small bungee cords at each end between the pad eyes and the small carabiners to keep the trolley line taut and to provide some give. I added another SS mini-carabiner (from WalMart) at one end of the rope where it attaches to the ring. This way, I can easily unhook it and use the rope to tie up with if needed. Tie the rope to the ring with a bowline, improved clinch or uni knot. I also singed the frayed ends of the rope with a flame to prevent further unraveling.

Installation was relatively easy and they seem to work well. Only issue I had was the rivets. Let me start off by saying I'm 200lb and I work out. That being said, I thought I was going to break my thumbs off using the rivets it came with. One of the rivets broke off in the wrong spot and left the shaft sticking out like a nail. I had some more rivets from a pad eye set so I used those for the second kayak and chucked the other ones in the trash. I didn't want to even mention it but it was absolutely the only thing that I hated during installing.Update: Reading another review has led me to believe that the rivets may have just been too short for my kayak. So one of my kayaks has those rivets. I guess I'll modify my review if they fail on me.

Great anchor trolley setup and seems to be made out of sturdy materials. Was easy to install most of the peices using a pop rivet gun and the included rivets. The only issue for me was that the cleat used to keep the line from slidding does not have enough room to use a pop rivet gun to install the rivets on it. Because of the location where I am installing it I do not have access to the back side to use the supplied bolts and nuts and will have to cut an opening in my kayak to get access to this area. It would be great if they can redesign that one peice to allow room for a pop rivet gun to be used. Overall I am very pleased with the price and setup.
