It was bigger and encased in plastic than the original ballast encased in metal that broke after 22 years but it does work, I just couldn’t screw it in so used tape instead.

I bought an old Lego dealer sign at auction that was in non-working condition. I tried a new bulb, the new bulb would light for minute and then stop. So it had to be the old ballast. I bought this ballast. I had to cut the end of the ballast off and wire it to special/different connector that sat fixed in place inside the sign. When finished, she lit up faster than ever and has been working perfectly since.

FM reception is iffy but it sounds okay - distorts some but is also not that expensive.

I used this to replace a Zadro 9" dimmable fluorescent mirror ballast. Easy replacement, it fit inside the Zadro housing with room to spare. I replaced the dimmable switch that was broken with a rotary on/off.

I replaced 5-year-old ballasts for circline flourescent tubes and it is a good replacement. I had to cut the quick-connects off the old ones and splice them on to the new ballasts.
