Well, it never worked in the high speed mode, but only works in the low and medium speed mode. It might work properly with your house wiring. I'm only giving it three stars because of it, otherwise it works.

Bought two ceiling fans 15 years ago and needed a new remote control for them as the old one failed the "drop" test after one time too many. Found the exact item I needed and it works just great.

I dropped a 10 year old fan remote off my nightstand and it shattered into a bunch of pieces. This was a perfect replacement. Looked just like my old one. Had to change one dip switch and then it started working.

What a lifesaver!!! I lost my remote during a divorce/move out. I needed a remote to sell my house snd not have to replace the fan/light as they were off when remote went missing. I will advise you that if you don't know the dipswitch settings you can use the list above to try and figure it out. My fan was 12 ft or higher and I wasn't interested in getting a ladder to see what the settings were on my fan so I sat in the floor and tried 8 of these before finding my setting. Hope this helps someone else.

My shepherd puppy turned my fan's old remote into a chew toy, so I was relieved that this was the perfect replacement. It works just like the original. (I compared model numbers before ordering to ensure it was the correct one.) I didn't have to make any adjustments or do anything special other than moving the battery from the old remote into the new one. I'm a happy camper and my pup is no longer in the (figurative) dog house.
