I am happy owner of Hercules Saxophone stand which I’m using quite for a while, hence bought this stand for my Concert Flute, the product is very sturdy & has awesome built quality. Holds up the flute very well.I would have rated it with 5 stars if the two extending legs were provided with locking mechanism when extended unlike Saxophone stand.

This thing is a brick. I mean that in the nicest sort of way, it is VERY sturdy and weighs enough to help prevent tipping. The velvet covering on the post is smooth and even and will baby your flute. I can't say how well this things does for a clarinet, but for flute and my baroque oboe it does great.--mjlg

I am very pleased with the stand. It appears just as the picture of it. I have been using it for about a month with no accidental tipovers. It is rugged and the part that goes into the bell of the clarinet appears to be velvet so it doesn't scratch the inside of the bell. The legs of the base fold inward for easy transporting. My only request would be that the design should incorporate some way to attach the upper part to the base after it's broken down (unscrewed). I heartly recommend it.

I looked around a bit before deciding on paying extra for this over some of the cheaper options. It was well worth the money. In addition to a Bb clarinet and a flute, I also use a C clarinet for church gigs. Standard clarinet stands don't work well with this because of the bell size. After looking at the way this was constructed for clarinet and flute, I decided it might work well for my non-standard clarinet. It works perfectly. It is more cumbersome than my Pack-A-Stand, but the size is still very manageable. The quality is also much higher. This thing would be very hard to tip over, and it can take some rough treatment. The felt covering is a nice touch.

Sturdy, though the legs are a bit stiff. Maybe some WD-40 might help, but I'm afraid to mess with it. I like that they are "solid." The felt peg works well for flutes - I don't own a clarinet, so I wouldn't know about that. A bit pricey, but I think it's worth the $$ for a good stand.

Sturdy, steady stand. Covered in soft material to protect the inside of your instrument. Comes apart for easy transport. A little bulky and heavy but it really needs to be. Best stand I have owned, recommended by my flute teacher who also has one. Very reasonable price.

This is such a great stand. It folds easy, is VERY sturdy & weighted well as to avoid 'tip-overs'. It would need to be hit fairly hard to knock it down. I really like the felt tip that holds the flute. It does help it to dry well. Hopefully I will continue to see my grandaughter treating her $1300 flute with the care & respect it deserves. This will help her to keep it handy to practice more often. Thanks for yet another great price on a great product!
