Basically, my flush handle was attached to a plastic lift for flushing. This is a metal lift, certainly won't break. I used the prior lifting chain and it was the proper length.Willingness to make this work helps. I will say for the price that it does the job and the exterior handle looks good.

No instructions! I think I am handy even though I have never fixed anything on the toilet before and I figured it out after a few minutes of playing with it.Great quality! Metal rod inside! Works great! Perfect fit!

This one is a winner for me! (I got the silver/chrome color.) Looks great and feels super sturdy. I have been using the all plastic handle and lever that came with my toilet for the past 5 years and it was getting progressively weaker and weaker. You had to be savvy about flushing and not force it. You sort of had to do a long push and let it eventually lift the flap so that you didn't snap the weakening plastic lever. It's also been getting looser and looser near the nut on the tank. The nut was tight, but the plastic was just wearing out. It was feeling very flimsy all the way around.I got this new handle last week and it's like night and day. I love it. Easy to install, feels strong, looks great, works great. The only thing I would say is that the edges of the handle aren't as smooth as they could be. It's not sharp by any means, just not as comfortable as it should be either. Overall though, for 10 dollars, I absolutely love it. If the edges were just a little smoother, it would be an easy 5 stars from me. It also came with a little square rubber gasket for where the handle threads into the tank. It didn't actually fit my toilet, but I thought that was a nice touch and I kept it in case I ever have a need for a square gasket! (And everything else did fit perfectly!) Thanks!
