It works well at an unreasonable price. This tiny adapter was necessary to attach a new pressure gauge to a poorly made Chinese tool. Options for almost everything in the retail market are limited to inferior imported merchandise. When you have no options you do what you have to and pay the price

These fittings were the perfect fit for the airbrush sandblaster tool that I bought here on Amazon. Easy to combine a standard air line fitting to an airbrush with British pipe thread.

Because NPT and BSPT are very close, its hard to say for sure, but it appears this adapter should be labeled at "1/4 NPT male x 1/4 BSPT female".Translated the packaging which designates the fitting at "1/4 BSPT outer x 1/4 NPT inner". See attached photo. Translation from outer/inner to male/female is uncertain.

This worked perfectly. I have a 8 gallon compressor hooked to a retractable hose reel. I was able to join my airbrush hose to the hose reel hose via normal quick connect perfectly. I did use vinyl tape just for good measure but I can now take my airbrush 30 feet away. The only bad part is my pressure adjusting is at the compressor. But that's just a minor inconvenience.

I recently got a 3/4 HP, 2-gallon tank air compressor for airbrushing. The compressor came stock with a 1/4" quick release female socket installed. So, I ordered the matching 1/4" male quick release connectors. The connectors had male 1/4" NPT threads, and as far as I could see, my 1/8" airbrush hoses have 1/8" female BSP threads. So, I ordered these to make the connection between quick release connector and hose. And these fittings do just that. With a bit of Teflon tape wrapped around the corresponding male threads, all components fit together with no obvious leaks. My compressor does slowly leak; about 10 PSI every hour. But I haven't thoroughly tested all fittings to pinpoint where the leak is at, so I won't say it's these fittings at fault. Furthermore, I don't leave my compressor loaded with air. I power it off and drain the tank after I'm done airbrushing, so I'm not necessarily in a hurry to make my setup as airtight as possible. So, given that these fittings enabled me to connect my airbrushes to my new compressor without modifications, I'm happy with these. I worked as a machinist for a few years back in the day, so I can say with an experienced eye (Pun intended- see my nickname!) that the finish quality of these fittings is great. No burrs, no gouging or other signs of damage, and the fittings' surface finish is smoother and better than I expected. If you need a fitting like this type, I gladly recommend these.
