I have built our log home and I have run into a couple of situations where I needed these and had to delay completing my lp gas line installation. I ordered other fittings to create a more versatile connection while providing the ability to connect more lines for other appliances in the future. At least I'll have these tees when I go to expand my system.

This is a 3/8" flare Tee style connector. It worked well with my propane gas setup. And it looks identical to those offered by the big box stores.
