This has been a great deterrent for dogs peeing in our yard. Before placing this by our mailbox every dog stopped to pee on it.

When I tried to unroll it to lay it flat it broke into pieces. Don’t buy if you want to use the pointed side. Very disappointed.

It was easy enough to install, but the plastic is very brittle and breaks easily. My neighbors have a tree that was cut down and The trunk was hollow so they filled it with concrete and put a pole in there to have a birdhouse. My cats keep jumping up on the trunk part waiting for the birds. I wanted to keep my cats off of the area. So I ordered this product and use a staple gun to staple it to the tree trunk. That was the only way to put it on there. The plastic kept snapping. Otherwise, it does work great. As long as you don’t need to use any type of staple or nail to hold it in place.

Fun to watch them try to walk between the spikes when you first get it, lol. They hate this stuff, and it works. A bit of a pain but worth the trouble if you need it. It’s a bit of a crude concept, but it’s harmless for what it is.

Initially put in garden & it didn’t bother the boys ( cats). Then attached to the top of the fence. No more jumping out to explore the wild world. Excellent.

We were over run with cats using our flower pots and our front porch to pee on! So we laid this in the flower beds. And on the porch and the cats are going somewhere else! Best product we tried so far. We took it off the porch so far two weeks and still no cats!

The mat is easily cuttable to fit whatever space you need. It comes with little clip-spikes you can use to secure it into the ground or (if you get creative) onto other surfaces. Two things to keep in mind:1) If you do not secure it, your cat (or other animal) may easily move it aside2) You must cover every possible inch of surface. I was surprised my cat could tip toe around it with the tiniest allowance of spaceYou can set things on top of it, which is so nice. I have heavy things like big flower pots, and lightweight things like a small ceramic dish. They seem at first like they balance precariously, but they have proven to be quite stable.I returned to purchase this again. Highly recommend.
