One glove was smaller than the other and bees sting right through them with out a problem.

I've been a beekeeper for over 15 years and have fumbled many a frame for lack of dexterity. Dropping a frame full of bees is exactly what you don't want to do! Light and comfortable these gloves are a pleasure to work in.

The hem and seams are nicely done, the elastic in the arm is loose enough to fit over a bee suit or other protective gear while still being tight enough to just about work over my bare arm. I'm a bit scrawny though, so they'll fit most arms nicely.The reason this doesn't get 5 stars is the leather. The fingers are broad and have very blunt tips, so they're loose on me and are going to get pinched when I'm setting frames down into my hives. Which then means I'll need to wiggle the frame around and partially resist it to free my gloves. That's gonna get annoying when dealing with a lot of hives during an apiary inspection day.They're better than the cheap ones I got starting out, which can now be relegated to guest equipment, so I'm happy with them currently

Update 31.Juli 2022Die Handschuhe sind nicht stichfest. Ich würde diese Saison mehrfach durch den Handschuh gestochen. Das hatte ich mit Gummihabdschuhen nieDas Leder ist schön geschmeidig. Ich fühle damit fast so gut wie mit den Gummihandschuhen, die innerhalb einer Saison Löcher bekommen haben. Ich bin gespannt, wie lange das Leder hält.Wie von einigen schon geschrieben, ist es mit der Größe schwierig. Laut Tabelle habe ich 9 und habe 9 und 10 zur Anprobe bestellt. Behalten habe ich die 10. Diese haben sich jetzt aber geweitet und sind etwas zu weit. Ich kann aber noch gut damit arbeiten.Nächstes mal nehme ich die 9. Die spannt im Neuzustand leicht, sollte sich dann aber gut anpassen.Gut ist auch der Lederfertsatz an Innenhand. Daran kann man den Handschuh gut anziehen. Würde man am Netz ziehen, würde dieses evtl. bald verzogen oder gerissen sein. Also am Besten gleich angewöhnen nicht am Netz zu ziehen..

I am a beekeeper and have used many types of gloves from different companies. I am a female, but do not have petite hands and my fingers are long. When I try unisex gloves, they fit horribly and I can't work the hives in them. I usually like to try gloves on before purchasing, but I thought these looked like they may work well so decided to give them a try. I am SO glad I did. They are probably the softest goat skin I've ever encountered AND they fit great. My fingers are snug in them, but not too tight. The thumb section could be a little more fitting, but I can fix that with a quick seam from my Singer. I am very pleased with the quality too. They are fabricated well and not from cheap materials. I love them and highly recommend.

I've recommended Humble Bee products to so many beekeepers I've lost count. Even my mentor asked about my ventilated jacket. I usually wear a round black veil with hat and a long-sleeved white t-shirt, with no gloves. When I do need gloves, these are the only ones I wear. Soft, aerated, easy-on, and they wash well. Yup I finally relented, stuck 'em in the laundry and hung outside to dry. I get all my wearable gear from these guys - the aerated jacket is awesome in the summer heat. A bit pricey but it's an investment and the quality is second-to-none.

The local beekeeping supply store only stocks men's gloves, so all the XS and XXS gloves they stock are way too large for my small hands. For the past few years, I've used dish washing gloves but a friend wanted me to buy some 'real' beekeeping gloves as a present.After reviewing the sizing options for the Humble Bee goatskin gloves, I decided that the XS would fit my small hands. I'm glad I decided on the XS instead of the XXS, since the XS gloves fit snugly, with no space on the tips of the fingers. I never thought there would be a glove too small for my hands but these gloves do run small. I guess the XXS is a child's size more than women's size.The cuff extends almost to my elbow, with a decent amount of ventilation to help with cooling. The stitching on the gloves is uniform and nicely done, with soft, uniformly grained goatskin. As others have mentioned, the thumb is looser than the fingers, but not enough to be a problem. There are a few stray threads on the cuff but the overall stitching is solid. I'm happy with my purchase.

Exactly as described in the posting, excellent fit and quality. I'm a true medium in all gloves that I wear and these are perfect. They are a little snug but all good gloves should be barely snug as they will break in as you sweat in them and use further.I wore these the first time this week and the vents on the wrist are excellent! So great to have fresh air over your wrists while working with your bees.It came in perfect condition, folded neatly, and were sent in a cardboard envelope inside the box that protected the product - nice touch. Thanks Humble Bee! Great product and great quality!

When I received my Gloves they seem to be made of good material. Soft leather. Good stitching, hence the three stars. However I ordered a size XL. They absolutely don't even come close to fitting. I can get them to the second knuckle on 4 fingers. My wife wears size small, and they are tight on her. Possibly a MIS label error, but they are usless to me.I contacted Humble Bee and advised them of the situation. They sent me a properly sized pair of XL gloves free of charge. They fit wonderfully, and are top quality. I changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars due to the quality, and the outstanding customer service
