Fit perfectly. Just remove the 4 screws securing the part, put the new part in place, and replace the screws. Bada bop boom pow, it works perfectly!!

Was pretty sure the original starter was missing the flywheel tangs as it was difficult to start and would sound like it was skipping. The new one arrived and I couldn’t see a lot of wear on the original one versus the new one. Installed the new one and works like a charm …5 minutes to take the old one off and install the new one. I am sure if I brought to my local husquarvana dealer they would charge me close to 75 bucks or tell me it wasn’t worth repairing and sell me a new blower.

When the pull start cord on my Husqvarna broke after about 8 years of use, I disassembled the mechanism thinking I could just repair the cord. Little did I know there was a gigantic coil spring inside that popped out when the cover was removes. There was no way O was going to be able to put it back in and then I found this OEM replacement on Amazon for $20. What a find. Installed easily and works great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that engagement of the starter mechanism isn't as "tight" as the original. But it gets the job done nonetheless.

It is too bad the cheap plastic wore out after two years use but the new one works and it was not that expensive and easy to get.
