The fabric is nice looking. We needed to keep some aggressive morning sunbeams from blinding u while we have morning coffee. The room overlooks a meadow where deer graze often and coyotes, raccoons, bobcats and other creatures pass through and we love watching them. Only wilderness behind the house so we don't use curtains but do need a bit of light blocking for the window over the sink. Very good quality

I ordered 6 of these beautiful valances for my triple windows. They're very full and substantial, which is how I like my valances. Two on each window is perfect. The material is heavy, with the reverse side of the valance being black. I hung them on my rod in the top pocket as i didn't want a ruffle on the top. I'm very happy with them

I was not expecting such high quality material and construction for the price, so I was pleasantly surprised. These curtains are a very nice weight. They are not cheaply made (uneven stitching, loose strings, etc.). The color is exactly as pictured - a true charcoal. I am only rating four stars instead of five because they are a little stiff, even after washing. I think this is partly due to the back lining. It does however, prevent any sun from shining through like it would with thinner cheaper materials. Takes some finagling to get the pleats to hang just right, but otherwise, two thumbs up!

This is in direct sunlight for most of day and these are over four windows side by side. Keep cooler in summer with air conditioning and warmer in winter with heat and they look beautiful. Exactly what I was looking to accomplish.
