Steps on Suction Cups Installation
1. Squeeze the ear to open the clip on the suction cup
2. Clip the suction cup to the edge of the sun shade
3. Slide the suction cup to adjust it to the proper position
4. Press the suction cup to secure it to the rear windshield

How to make the sucker adsorb more firmly on the rear windshield
Suction cups can get deformed after delivery, yet still well functional.
Prepare enough boiling water; put the deformed ones into the hot water until they got softened.
Take them out, suction cups became flat and much more elastic, easier to stick onto the car window.
To ensure a permanent suction, customers should carefully rinse the rear window with clean water. Then wipe off water using clean tower.
The suction cups should also be cleaned with clean water if they’re stained with dust when arrived in the package.（Don't include cloth for wiping.）
Install the suction cup onto the sun shade by gently pressing the ear part of those cups, slide the suction cups back and forth to get fastened on the frame of the sun shade.
Try being patient, don’t push too hard or overexert yourself, the suction cups will get deformed in this case and difficult to stick onto window!
Usually, smear some lotion, Vaseline, salad oil, or just clean water onto the surface of suckers can repair those invisible cracks at the surface of suction cups, easily restore the suction force.

It is far more opaque than I'd expected. But maybe it will work; I haven't tried it yet. I hope it doesn't obstruct my view too much.

Wife uses it to mitigate the immense glare she deals with on her commute to work in the mornings. She wears eye glasses that don't have transition lenses, and refuses to wear contacts.The only thing that bothers me is that the static cling isn't as sticky as I expected it to be. Had to push it pretty hard against the windshield in order for it to securely stick. Around 2017/2018, I had bought a set of static cling sun shades that would stick securely even if you just tossed it onto the window. Got rid of them after I had tint installed. I should've kept them.

I live in Arizona where the sun is intense in the early morning and late afternoon. When the sun gets to the low point it is like a laser beam coming through your windshield. Stick on your windshield where ever needed. These shades do a superior job in blocking those annoying sun rays so you can keep your eyes on the road. Great invention!

You cannot see through this sucker, at all, and it stayed "suctioned" for about a day. I will say if you don't mind not looking out your back window...it does block the sun really well. My daughter still faces back in her car seat and we live in Texas so I really wanted this to work..so badly that i just ignored the other reviews..oh well. The sun will peek through in the evenings just so that it hits her in the face and neck. It stinks, and I keep trying to reapply this up, but it keeps falling. Just don't get it. I think we are just going to end up tinting the back window .

I purchased these (2) in July but set aside (then couldn't locate). Perfectly THRILLED to have them, now. Am not affixing it to the windshield; rather, am holding it in my fingers - repositioning frequently, as needed. It weighs about as much a paper-towel, the wired edge is easily grasped. Am holding it because the sun is at a low angle and my area is hilly with curving roads. Blinding orb is high-up, lowest-down, left, right all within minutes. Yesterday, this shade let me avoid another car that ran a red light because IT was blinded by sun. Took some effort to locate file of my AMAZON purchase of months ago, but wanted others to appreciate how this shade can serve an important purpose.

I recently purchased the Car Sun Shade for Kids to protect my little one from the harsh sun during our drives. While the overall quality of the sun shade is quite impressive, there is one notable issue that needs addressing.Pros:The sun shade is incredibly effective at blocking out the sun's glare, creating a comfortable and shaded environment for my child. The material used appears to be of high quality, and it feels durable enough to withstand regular use.Cons:However, the main drawback I encountered was related to the suction cups. Unfortunately, they did not perform as well as I had hoped. The suction cups tended to lose their grip after a short while, causing the sun shade to fall off the window unexpectedly. This became quite frustrating during longer trips, as I constantly found myself having to reattach the shade. It's worth noting that the effectiveness of the shade in providing relief from the sun's rays was significantly compromised each time the cups failed.In conclusion, the Car Sun Shade for Kids has the potential to be an outstanding product, providing excellent sun protection and a pleasant driving experience for both parents and children. However, the suction cup issue needs to be addressed for this product to reach its full potential. After cleaning my window the suction cups wouldn’t stick, I tried using boiling by water to rejuvenate them and sadly didn’t work. I then tried a little water, oil, I know sounds odd but it does work- and nothing. I’m sad because I really needed the shade for this weekends trip to help my baby sleep. Side not the way the screen is held by the suction cups is odd, didn’t hold very well either. Wouldn’t recommend, nearly had a great product but came with cheap suction cups.

So you can’t drive fast with this thing in without falling off but I used a little bit of aluminum tape to secure it better and it works wonders ! Pros and cons are you have shade in your car while driving ( I also use car curtains for my back 2 windows and my car stays 60pct cooler ) also another pro is it blocks highbeems from the cars behind you so you’re not blinded when you drive at night.Cons, I can only think of one it’s so dark it’s hard To see the cars Behind you without using your side mirrors.

De tamaño quedó muy bien para un sentra pero los chupones tienen muy bajo agarré aún cuando los metas al agua caliente como dicen. Tuve que pegarlos con silicón para que se quedaran fijos. Cubre poco el sol pero si deja pasar el calor y luz. La verdad es caro para la función que realiza.

Honestly I really wanted to like this product because I couldn't find an alternative that worked. If there was some way to permanently attach the suction cups to the shade it would have been perfect. Right now as it is, every time I pull the shade off, the suction cups stay on the car (great suction cups! Make sure to push them all the way in if you want them to suction properly) and I spend several minutes having to reattach every single one of them when I want to put the shade back on. It is extremely annoying. Also, it's not as sheer as the picture makes it look. I can't see out the back at all when it's attached to the back windshield (really dangerous to drive with to be honest). My side windows have curtains that are the perfect sheerness to provide shade but you can still see through and the suction cups are permanent attached but on an adjustable string, which is a much better solution.
