In my opinion this is the nicest looking washing machine door latch to keep the door open.Nice space for air circulation and keeps the door out of the way when we wish to use the Laundry sink.

Allows washing machine to air dry. Cuts down on mold build up. Easy to use. Strong magnets. Actually got this for my front loader. Now I use it with my top loader lid.

I thought it might be too big, but it is just perfect! No stinky, mildewey washing machine, or door hanging open all the way into the room. I just pull the whole thing off when I load the machine, then it grips on again with the magnets when I'm done. Easy!

Loved this at first. But then the rubber piece that holds the magnets kept coming off and now is lost. So gerryriged this so I can keep using it. I don't know why piece holding the 4 strong magnets had to be a seperate from the unit itself.

It does what it says but the flimsy cap that covers the base comes off every time I pull it away from the washer. The magnets then fall out which can roll under your units. I plan on taping the base cap on it so the problem goes away. Stupid design.

I appreciate the device for keeping the door on our front loader cracked opened. My only complaint would be the base of the device. It’s not as strong as I believe it should be. Because the only way for the arm to hold the door, it must be placed where the door closes. It must be moved every time you wash and every time you’re done. Great idea, just not the best base.

could be so much better if they addressed the issue in the comments re: the magnet cover falling off. You have to make sure you hold the cover in place when removing the prop (to close the washer door) otherwise it pops right off; it should just snap into the holder securely. How hard can that be to fix? But, having said that, it works to keep air circulating without having to leave the door wide open. I was annoyed with the packaging though - oily and dirty outside and inside. Had to thoroughly wipe down the prop, each magnet and the cover to remove the oil film and little blobs of black stuff everywhere.

Made of plastic but there needs to be a better way to keep the small magnets contained. On multiple occasions the over for the magnets pop off and they fall on the floor. I would never use again if I had small children.

This thing is cool! It’s easy to install and makes it easy to keep the washing machine door open a little so it can dry after washes. We’ve noticed a significant difference since we started using this thing…our washing machine no longer smells bad in between washes.
