Piece of junk. Too much fabric that the ball can’t really roll around inside, tried wood floors, tile and carpet didn’t make any difference. The “bird” chirp sounds are awful. Don’t waste your money in this.

It works great but it did come with a tear in the seam and I thought I was supposed to put the ball in that hole but then I saw the correct opening. My cats aren’t impressed, they just look at it and one of them runs from it. I was hoping it would be a hit. I will find someone with cats and hopefully their cats will like it.

We have an energetic young adult kitty...she is so much fun and loves to play. Sometimes too much! I have seen similar interactive toys for kitties but different from this. I don't know where to start. The description is exactly what is to be expected. The toy by itself does not need batteries. It charges quickly hooked up to a computer or other universal charge ports. It rolls by itself until it bumps into a wall or chair and then goes another direction. I didn't realize that it cuts itself off if it is idle for a bit. It has a little whirring noise and chirp and light that blinks and changes colors. We call it her "mousey" because she chases it like a mouse. There is also a little remote control that is a bit flimsy, but we've realized we don't need it. In just a few weeks, our kitty realizes that if she jumps on it, it will start on its own like a mouse really would. The toy can easily slide into the mat to roll around inside for her to pounce on. We like it this way so she knows where to find it to play. When I'm busy and she wants to play, I can tap my toe on it and it will start up again. I've only charged it twice since it does cut off and saves power.I don't have anything negative to say about it. It would be nice if there were some pattern choices. It does look like a play mat for a toddler and since all our toddlers have grown up, it is a little out of place. It could easily go under a bed, but we like it in the den. Super fun for active indoor kitties~
