1.Style:Injection Practice Arm

  • The intradermal injection arm features a forearm from the palm to just below the elbow. The forearm is the site most commonly used for skin allergy testing. You can choose to practice intradermal injections in various locations on this forearm.
  • The simulator with the palm is reproduced to the size of a real person. The simulator tries to be more realistic and textured, hoping to reduce your fear when facing the real injection.
  • The intradermal injection trainer has 58 injection points, which allow maximum flexibility to fully practice and develop your intradermal injection skills. It also allows different students to use the simulator interchangeably to experience the realism of practicing intradermal injections on the forearm. Needle shown in the picture is not included.
  • In contrast to the PVC material, our forearm are made of food-grade silicone material. This makes the texture of the training arm softer and closer to the touch of real skin. The simulator is a better substitute for fruit, trotters or a real arm for practicing intradermal injections.
  • The ID injection simulator equips with a supporter stand. The stand will help you keep the simulator in place and prevent the simulator from rolling around. You could focus on skin testing.
  • The intradermal injection simulator is designed to simulate skin wheal, bleb, small blisters or skin welt when intradermal injection is correctly performed. It will help students apply theory to practice and promote students' understanding. The needle shown in the picture is not included.

Product Description

intradermal injection arm

The currently used Mantoux technique requires a high amount of training and is difficult to standardize.

fat layer

Injecting the needle too deep will lead to leakage to the subcutaneous layer (fat layer).

skin

Injecting the needle too shallow will cause leakage to the outside of the skin.

intradermal

Injecting the needle properly will form a characteristic skin welt.

application

The simulator is a better substitute for fruit, trotters or a real arm for practicing intradermal injections.

It is a better practice object for future doctors or nurses. It is widely used in teaching demonstrations in social training institutions, clinics, hospitals, medical schools, nursing and midwifery schools, and health schools.

Looks like image as advertised. Used for simulation lab for nurses. Holds up great. Great for practice and makes a wheel for TD injection.

So glad to have gotten this. It has really helped me get comfortable with puncturing skin and feels realistic.

Wow this practice arm is very true to life.. The arm itself is dense and hefty, which I think is great if someone wants to practice holding the arm up a little during an injection, or just remaining in a stable position without it rolling. Might want to keep this arm far away from blankets or anything with fibers because it attracts hair like crazy. Has plenty of application points. I'll update this review after a few practice sessions and see if I notice anything additional

Intradermal injections require alot of practice to get right and this arm provides a great way to practice. I believe it has slightly more tension than real skin but nevertheless, it is good to practice the angle and simulate the experience to be comfortable with intradermal injections.
