This valve seems to be well made and easy to use. I've had this brand and model of valve on my pool plumbing before, and one real benefit is that it can be disassembled and lubricated while some alternative ball valves cannot be. From my experience, these valves should last for many years even installed outdoor in the weather and sunlight.

Had a problem with my existing diverter that selects the input from the pool to the pump. This is a perfect replacement for that and found out that this replacement does not reduce the size of the flow at the connection which makes better water flow to the pump. I'm using 1.5" lines and it works perfectly. The valve is well made and looks just like the OEM brandThe description says it supports 2" lines and it appears to support 2" lines by using a standard 2" coupler between the pipe and the diverter (gluing to the exterior of the diverter); the one picture in the step-by-step diagram shows this. I was not able to verify this since I didn't have 2" PVC couplers.

Just to clarify - the title states "Jandy", but it is NOT a Jandy brand valve, which is stated in the description. I had to remove a section of PVC on my pump for a pump repair, and there was not enough pipe left on my old valve to reuse it, so I ordered this. I have 1 1/2" plumbing on my pool pump, so this required a reducer from 2", which was expected. The fittings are not threaded - standard solvent weld - which is like my old one and eliminates the potential for leaks at the threaded connections. After putting this in (with added lengths of pipe to allow for future pump repairs) it worked perfectly with no leaks. Bottom line is it does what it is supposed to do at a better price than the name brand.

Ive used 3 of these knockoff valves so far and this one is BY FAR the easiest to turn the handle. The other 2 I have feel like youre going to break my 2" plumbing when I need to rotate the vale to a new position. I highly recommend this one and Ill be purchasing more.

Overall, this valve is jsut as good as the Jandy brand. My only complaint is if you are looking for a 2" valve, this is not it - you have to use couplers to downsize it to the 1.5" port size which will decrease water flow.

I replaced all the parts of my 20 year old pentaire pool setup and mostly used the same parts. I went with this valve in the place of the old Jandy and aside from color, it's the same functional replacement. It works well and does not leak. I am a little concerned for future parts but realistically, I don't move the valve that much and the last one was in place for 20 years no issue.

Recently had a main pump in my pool go out. Had to replace some valves during that process in order to get things to line up properly with my new pump. This served the purpose exceedingly well. It is smooth turning and seems well made, very sturdy and is easy to work with. I like the fact that you can use it for 1 1/2 or 2 in pipe without needing a separate adapter. Look forward to this being part of my pool set up for the next several years.

This three way valve works just like the name brand models and cost less. It allow flow from the middle line to either or both of the two adjacent lines. You have to unloosen the top wing nut, raise the handle and turn it to the correct setting. Once done you reseat the handle and tighten the locking nut. Very easy to use and this will work with either 1.5” or 2” PVC schedule 40 pipe.
