Love this rotary cheese grater. Works well to grate your cheese and keeps everything clean and neat without having to deal with a box grater. Also can be used as a mandolin slicer to slice vegans nuts. Blades are stainless steel which makes for easy clean up. The handle works smoothly and is very easy to use. Color is nice. Good buy for the money.

This was really easy to use. I actually appreciate that you don't have to plug it in. It suctions on to the counter to make it easy to apply pressure to. It's really easy to turn. And the top plunger bit makes it easy to push down cheese without risking hurting your hand. My only complaint was that a lot of cheese gets stuck behind the grater piece, and so the last little bit won't shred. And then you have to separate all the parts to clean it out. I will come back and edit my review if I can figure out how to keep this from happening.

We stopped buying bags of pre-shredded cheese a few years ago. The taste of the block cheese freshly grated is just so superior to the bagged stuff. We have been using a box grater and elbow grease to grate the cheese in small quantities, and a grating disc in an electric food processor for large quantities. But our food processor finally died (wedding gift from 25 years ago) so decided to give this cheese grater a try. Overall it is a really helpful tool, but it definitely has pros and cons.Pros:Suction bottom really keeps it stuck to the countertop and stable.Really grates the cheese quickly and doesn't take any effort to turn the handle.Cons:The pusher can only go in exactly one way and it isn't obvious so I waste some time trying to get it lined up.It is a lot of pieces so it is a lot to store and was tricky to put together and take apart at first. Now that I understand how it all goes together it is pretty fast. Still a lot of stuff to store.The chute where the cheese goes is pretty narrow so you have to cut the block down pretty small.It can't grate the entire block, there's a thin bit of cheese that is left behind when you're done.The cheese doesn't really shoot out of the chute, you have to reach up in there and pull it out.Overall, the ease of this make it a winner for me, but you may think differently.

The suction is terrible. It takes two people to use this because the device moves around on the counter and it's hard to grate anything. And the cheese sticks to the outside.

Requires both hands to hold it down and push food through at the same time. Do not buy.

Forget shredding by hand! Using this grater by turning it is so much easier and better than manual doing it. It does beat the electrical ones but this is by far the cheapest option and better for you. It spins so smoothly. Cheese or veggies you pick. No more hand grating cheese for thanksgiving!
