To install, place the bracket into the slot of the plate bracket, position the innovative bracket onto the top of the window casing (spike down) and tap the included tacks into place with hammer. These are great for being in a rental. No holes needed to be drilled into the wall, no command strips. Very happy with the purchase.

No matter what I did I could not get these things installed. The "nail" to secure it is very weak and bent easily. I might be able to make it work with screws and drilling pilot holes in the window frame but that defeats the purpose of purchasing these to avoid doing that.

I absolutely love the Kenney Fast Fit 5/8" No Measure Curtain Rod Brackets in Oil Rubbed Bronze! The look and style of these are great. They are easy to install and only require a hammer. The only downside is the size of the loop for the curtain rod. Not all rods will fit.

I always dread hanging curtains because the brackets for the rods are let’s face it a pain in the butt to put up. I procrastinate with traditional brackets.These are super easy and sturdy. It took me less than two minutes to put up both brackets. You literally tap the top in to the window frame at the top, nail in the one tack and insert the rod hanger.

This was a great idea, unfortunately, the tacks supplied do not have a strong Enough hold for a curtain Rod.

EDIT: Over a year later. Product is still in the same condition as day one.Many of the complaints about this are 1) the tacks included to attach the brackets to the windowsill are too small. I am 6’1 with large hands and had no issues whatsoever. 2) They are flimsy, dont last, or dont work. I installed mine properly and quickly and not only do I not even notice them when I have my curtains up, they have shown absolutely no signs of falling off, breaking, or anything along those lines. They are easy to install if you actually take your time (even just 5-10) mins, and make sure they are set up in the proper place.

As someone else in the reviews mentioned, the tacs are too small. I initially used the tacs that came in the kit. Failed. Immediately fell out. Changed to long skinny nails, like the kind you use to hang a picture, and it’s fantastic! Love it! I also followed another’s suggestion of putting paper against the wall while using the hammer. Saved me scuff marks on the wall. If they included long nails instead of small tacs, they’d get a great review from me.

We just bought professionally made curtains and needed something to put in that wouldn't make the wall look trashy. I've used this before and I am always impressed by how well they work. Will buy again!!
