The listing should POINT OUT that the center faucet base is HUGE. SUGGEST ACTUALLY MEASURING CLEARANCE!! We have a fairly giant and 70 year old pedestal sink, yet the base diameter of the faucet interferes with the casting of sink's edge.... had to use a bench grinder to lop off a quarter-inch at the back of the faucet base so as to clear the flared edge shape on the sink. I would be impressed to see any vintage pedestal sink larger than ours!

I ordered this and was nervous given the rate of people having problems. Sure enough, we got through installing it and had a leaking cartridge. We reached out to Kingston Brass, they sent new cartridges, however, the originals were inserted so tightly that even with standing in the wrench to hold the rest of the assembly still the cartridge wouldn’t budge and then the edges of the nut-like section of the cartridge rounded off from the pressure and was basically stripped. Kingston Brass said to return that one to Amazon with a note about that in the return and order a new one. We did. The new one works fine.Overall the construction seems fairly solid and there is a lot of metal. Sadly, we REALLY wanted the ceramic x-style handles and no one else seems to make that any more.We are disappointed, however, that the little plugs with the C and H are now made of plastic and even just doing the installation on the first was enough to have detectable rubbing off of the black printed text. Eventually that will be a problem. Otherwise we like the style and the solid build enough that we will contemplate how to deal with that when it eventually looks ugly or rubs off entirely.

I had concerns about buying an off brand product, made in Taiwan from an unfamiliar manufacturer.My plumber warned that he has had to work on a lot of Kingston Brass faucets and it is difficult to get parts.My problem is that the faucet handles turn in opposite directions to turn the water on/off. Normally it is counterclockwise on, clockwise off. Not with Kingston,, counterclockwise is off (for cold) but "off is clockwise for hot.The customer service lady couldn't understand the problem I had. When I was done explaining she wouldn't say any thing. Complete silence. The Customer Support Person had the opposite problem. He kept interrupting when I was talking to him and would talk over me. Very rude. He told me I would just have to" get used to it.""That's the way we make the faucets"This faucet is in our downstairs bathroom. Everyone who visits comments that the faucets don't work properly.I am worried that eventually the porcelain handles will break from people trying to turn them the wrong way.I recommend you don't buy this faucet.. Buy a brand you know and provides customer support.

Our antique faucet finally stopped working so we wanted to replace it with something that had a vintage feel. This was the perfect solution!! It looks great, does what it's supposed to, and my plumber RAVED about how well made it is. I will order this brand again when we need to for our second bath.

We had a space issue with our faucet and this one fit the tight specs. We already have a Kingston Brass faucet in our kitchen so knew the quality to expect. When the new faucet arrived we were not disappointed, it is great looking and sturdy feeling. We are very pleased with our purchase.
