I’m pretty impressed with this lock, I was looking at one of the proven industries locks, but couldn’t decide if they worth the extra cost. This lock provides pretty solid protection for the price. Comes with 4 keys and a silicone plug to keep the rust and dust out.

This receiver lock works perfectly for my 30 foot camper. It has a 2 5/16 ball and it fit in it. Absolutely perfect. There’s no way someone could break it off. I feel very safe with it and quality is great a it is a bit heavy, but that is to be expected. The lock works perfectly and comes with multiple rubber plugs to put in as a cover for when not unlocking it.

Fit very well and made of heavy steel. Fit standard 2-5/16" a-frame formed steel hitch well. A good theft deterant, but like any hitch lock, with the right tools it can be defeated. This one would take a long time to get past and the bright orange let's everyone know a hitch lock is installed.

It’s deterred any would-be thiefs over the past few months, it looks and functions great and easily comes on and off. The build quality is better than you would expect, especially for the price. I would definitely buy another.

I purchased this to use on my new cargo trailer once I finally mounted it and locked it, I came back later to move the trailer and neither of the keys fit into the lock again. I’m skilled in locksmithing, so I’m well versed in locks. I eventually had to drill the lock out, which took me all of 6 seconds with a regular 1/2” bit. This lock will seize on you (even right out of the box). Further, the lock assembly is made of soft metal and the housing is ALUMINUM! Why would a company mount an inferior, easy to drill out lock in such a heavy duty outer casing? This lock will provide nothing more than a visual deterrent- a thief will a basic battery powered and drill bit will make easy work of this lock. Have been looking at this style of lock from other brands. Price point is good on this lock. My research tells me this style offers a lot more security than the cheaper U-style locks that can be easily cut off or pried off with a crowbar. This lock is made of 5/16" thick solid steel and weighs just over 7-1/2 pounds. Haven't used it yet but I think it would take a lowlife thief a lot of work and bring unwanted attention in even attempting to remove this lock so I expect it will make a good anti-theft deterrent.

I’m not saying that it’s “bombproof” but damn it’s very sturdy and well made. Will definitely detour would be thieves!!!Definitely worth the money!!!

The product didn't fit right initially, I have an old forged hitch and the locking tab would not engage far enough to push the lock in. I pushed the retaining pin out of the tab and took a small amount of material off the top of the tab that inserts in the ball location, it fits like a champ.
