First off, these things work exactly as described. They keep the pests out of the cracks and crevices of back the water heater and fridge. They have a strong spring to hold them in place but I found with enough bouncing down the road and expansion and contraction of the plastic in the RV they sometimes fall out. Here's how to get these to stick in place better!1. Use the spring. Yes, use the spring it actually works to keep tension.2. Once in place, use silicone of some kind (RTV or whatever, you won't be using much) to put a couple of tacks in place to hold it in place. This is usually just enough when coupled with the spring to hold everything in place. I don't run an entire bead, literally like a tack weld, just a couple of dots as insurance and I haven't lost one since. I did lose one at the beginning and I figured out it just came loose some how so the silicone helps with this.3. When needing to take them off, they come straight off with just a little pulling, it isn't hard. When I need to re-stick them, just another dot of silicone and they are back in place. To clean them up I can usually just knock the silicone off with an exacto knife or clean it up with some denatured alcohol.I hope this helps!

We recieved a order with missing parts and the seller corrected the problem immediately by sending them...I highly recommend this seller. The product itself is well made.

It was great that it came as a set. It looks really nice and does not look look tacky!

Easy to install and a quality product. The spring fasteners should be packaged separately. They came loose and a pain to get them removed from the screen.

I received the screens quickly. They were easy to install. So far, they're keeping the bugs out like they're supposed to.

I liked the silicone. I've seen others that slide around. The springs to attach are difficult to engage the vent so they don't slip off. I had to bend them to get them where they wouldn't slip with a bit of pressure. Otherwise they would be a 5 star.

One end of each spring has a vertical wire across the middle of the end. That end goes toward the heater body. The other end hooks to the screen. Push the slotted installation tool through the screen, the THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE SPRING, and hook it over that center vertical wire. Now, you can push the end through the heater's grid or louver easily and turn it to lock in place, then withdraw the installation tool and on to the next one. All 8 spring were installed this way on my camper in about ten minutes. VICTORY!! The screens are well built and are a perfect fit.. Great value.

The covers were very easy to put on, the only thing I didn't care for was the fit on the lower one as the spring felt a little sloppy. There were only two springs clips so I had to do the best I could with what was provided. Other than that, appear to be well constructed and would recommend the product.

While these are made for, and fit, RV furnace vents I found that with a little ingenuity they also fit the 2 inch PVC intake and exhaust pipe on a high efficiency home furnace. I appreciate that these are stainless as regular steel when exposed to hot exhaust will corrode quickly and can make things worse than just drawing bugs in, by allowing rust particles coming from corroded screening to be sucked into the burner. On the RV they were a perfect fit and the little screw driver looking tool made getting them secured via the included springs a lot easier that it would be without this critical tool. There are four springs included but I found that on the RV I was able to get each snuggly secured with only one, I’ll keep there spares just in case something goes sideways in the future. The low clearance, just under 1 1/2 inches (or 35mm’s) means that they don’t stick out so far that there’s much chance of getting scraped off while parking or otherwise moving around the trailer. As for using them on our home furnace pipes, I never thought about it till a neighbour ended up having a wasp nest built in the combustion air intake pipe during the summer. As it was inside the pipe it wasn’t visible and the first time his furnace kicked in the nest came lose and was drawn into the pipe which then made a mess of the burner fan. As this wasn’t a warranty item it cost him a few bucks to get it fixed, significantly more than the cost of these screens. For me, I’m grabbing a second set so both the RV and home furnace are secured.
