You can spray this stuff on the tip of a rusty bolt and watch it climb the threads . I bought a small can of spray and an oiler tip type can and you can actually see it following the threads right before your eyes. I never had another brand move to the Grove like this does . I'm always looking for something better than the other when it comes to lube . Most all spray lube dries up in minutes and this stuff does too, but not as fast . I'm starting to think 30 weight and an oil can is the absolute answer short of preluberacants before the rust .

I bought this from a recommendation in a firearms or reloading magazine shortly after spending hours trying to repair a truck and struggling with numerous rusted and seized bolts. the first opportunity to use this product was a reloading die that was rusted fast. there was no way to use a vice, and 2 pair of channel-lock pliers wouldn't budge it. i applied this on both ends of the die and a minute later, it was loose enough to disassemble.

This product was highly recommended by a friend who has also tried to take apart an antique sewing machine & make it work again. Turns out, that friend was 100% correct. My advice to anyone out there working on an old treadle? Buy this stuff. It’s the missing piece to the puzzle.Managed to remove every one of those 116 year old screws & bolts coated in gobs of antique oil and so much antique crud I thought it was part of the steel—and I did it without stripping or ruining anything. Didn’t even curse anymore after applying this stuff! 10 out of 10. Thank you!
