Good all arounder, nice weight and good value. Fit and finish could be improved, mine had an uncomfortably sharp area on the wood handle behind where you pinch the blade.

I’ve wanted this knife since I first saw it on the Bon Appetit YouTube channel, and finally ordered myself one in December. I’m a big fan of taller cleaver style knives for chopping veggies, since the tall blade also acts as a bench scraper to help pick everything up easily and quickly.I work in a professional kitchen, and I use this knife pretty much daily. It’s my first choice when cutting onions and other veggies. The edge grind is very good and comes nearly shaving sharp out of the box, and the blade itself is meaty enough to be tough and power through whatever you need but thin and light enough to be a joy to cut with.The handle is incredible; I have zero complaints on how the knife sits in my hand.I cannot recommend this knife enough.
