I've sort of become a bourbon drinker the last few years and I do sometimes like a bit of ice in my drink....sorry bourbon/whiskey snobs. I do try all new bourbons neat, but many I do like with an ice cube. Our refrigerator puts out some really small cubes which melt too quickly and I much prefer a big a__ ice cube.This tray works very well although I might give it 4.5 stars if possible because my daughter got me a better one. This one is made from pretty thin silicone and that allows for the cubes to come out easily, but it's also easy for this to get deformed in the freezer if you can't place it in there alone. The one my daughter got me has much thicker silicone walls and you can put a bag of frozen food on it without it collapsing before frozen. The only drawback to that one is it is harder to get the cubes out.

I think this works great, it makes six ice cubes at a time, and they are easy to push out of the soft silicone.
