This was a bit of a flyer, but I have wound up being impressed with it. I'm using this holder and indexable inserts for external threading in an old Monarch manual engine lathe. They have been easy to use and have worked surprisingly well. (I mostly work with easy metals to turn -- aluminum and steel, nothing exotic. Carbide inserts last me a very long time!) I am only a hobbyist, but I can recommend this set if it will work with your existing machine setup.

Seems well made, It's a bit on the chunky side for my tool posts. I had to put in in the mill and take 1mm off to get a nice fit. That's not the tools fault, it's my setup. Inserts fit well and tighten down just fine.I ran a quick 20tpi single point on a drop and it cut well, and the threads look as expected. In a tool-post holder it goes for a lifetime of use.
