Die Trommel ist wie von LP zu erwarten sehr gut verarbeitet Lässt sich sehr gut spielen und macht einfach nur Spaß Leider hatte ich beim Kauf nicht auf die Größe geachtet Da die Trommel für den Einsatz draußen beim Tarif Streik gedacht ist wurde dann doch lieber das kleinere Modell bestellt für den Transport und das mitlaufen in der Gruppe Grundsätzlich kann ich das Produkt empfehlen und würde mir es jederzeit wieder kaufen in einer anderen Konstellation

The previous reviewer has no idea how a tantan is supposed to sound. These new LP drums are awesome. He shouldn't have bought it if he wanted a conga sound. He should have bought a conga.I'd highly recommend these drums. Such a warm bass sound.

Unlike most hand drums, the Tan Tan's drum head has a felt material backing material. Somehow, this makes the Tan Tan produce mostly a mono-tone bass, unlike other hand drums that produce multiple sounds.Pluses:Very pretty orange.Light weight.LoudSmooth soundingMinuses:Primarily single tone.Hand slap on side of drum produces weak sound. This is primarily how to get more tones.Lack of a solid spot on drum steel rim that can be played with a stick to create another tone. Hitting on the chrome plated rim will eventually wear out the chrome.I was hoping more for a conga drum with a strap-- this is a monotone bass drum with a strap.11/2014-- the above 5 star commenter is correct--what I wanted was a portable conga. This tan tan is rich sounding.
