The sharp edge of the bell could be a potential risk to the dog’s health.

The bell I received broke (lost the clapper) 12 days after I received it during a training session with my dog. Only the 4th time using the bell and it's now unusable.

This bell has a pleasant, clear tone but will not last long on a dog hunting in the field. Center piece that holds the clapper and secures everything together is thin weak brass which is stamped together. I’m now shopping for a replacement as this one fell apart.

The bell is fairly loud in the field, and is easy to add to a collar, but the design is just not strong enough for an active dog running through a North Carolina forest. We lost 2 of these within two weeks. We went to the local ag supply and bought a goat bell and a carabiner for half the cost.

Way to big to put on my dog's collar, it would be great if it was just a bit smaller. It is easy to hear from a distance.

Not so loud that is disturbes neighbours, but helps keep track of my dog in the trees and bushes.Dog loves it too, he knows when the bell comes out, he is getting to run.No flaws

I bought this bell because we spend the summers around a lake that is frequented by many bears. This bell has made all my walks around the lake a pleasure as I know that any bears in the vicinity will hear my very energetic lab long before he gets to them! It is also fantastic because now when my dog is ahead of me I can tell exactly where he is. I highly recommend this bell for anyone wanting an easy way to keep track of their dog and scare off potential 'dog problems'. Well constructed and easily attached to collar.

This bell first off is not a long distance bell. Short range at best. then the bell fell apart in a week after use. Turned the dog out and she came back with just the strap no bell. The center of the bell was stamped out not cast so to weak to hold up.
