I have two young lefthanded grandsons. They struggle with regular scissors when trying to cut. They hurt their hands and just don't cut properly. I was really surprised when these arrived. They are good and sturdy with comfortable handles. The blades aren't as long as regular scissors, but not little like safety scissors. In fact, I like them so much I'm going to look for righthanded ones for me. Very reasonable price for three pair.

It is lovely to have scissors designed for left-handed children. Like most craft scissors these are not super sharp. For example, they have problems cutting small stickers. However, they are also more likely to not hurt someone. I would recommend these for general crafts.

I'm a BIG kid now! LOL These aren't your typical kid scissors and FINALLY I have scissors I can use. I was a little worried they would look childish or not be sharp - NOPE! These are perfect scissors for anyone somewhat responsible (no running with scissors! LOL) and of course if you are left handed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 👍😁👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don't run across left-handed people often but certainly do on occasion. I remember my uncle sitting at a certain spot at the holiday dinner table so that he wouldn't bump anyone with his left arm while eating. I also am aware that lefties knit and crochet differently than typical right-handers. Thus, I think this product would be a perfect addition to a box of supplies I intend to donate to a nearby elementary school. The scissors came packaged in on a typical, decorated piece of cardboard covered with a plastic see-through cover (such as you'd find on a SuperHero doll hanging on a rack). Thus, you can see all 3 scissors and the product is definitely giftable, as is.The scissors are designed with the left-handed in mind. The holes for fingers/thumbs are placed differently than in your typical scissors. They are made with sturdy, colorful plastic handles and well-designed, sharp stainless blades. The target audience is anyone 8+ years (the tips are too pointy and sharp to be safe for younger kids.)I am positive these 3 pair of scissors will not last long in the school donation box as the teachers barter for who will take them to their classroom. I've never seen such an item before (admittedly, I wasn't looking, either) and think it's just genius.

Got these for my 9 year old daughter. They are true lefty, which is hard to find, and the price for 3 pairs of scissors is great. They cut well. Compared to the 7" lefty Fiskars, the blades are slightly shorter, and the handle is much larger/heavier. They probably weigh twice as much, which could be a fatigue issue if they're being used for long periods of time, so keep that in mind.As far as fit goes, the 9 year old can use them, though they look big in my opinion. Her father cannot. I could (petite adult female), but I'm not left handed, so it's hard for me to judge whether it's a problem with the scissors or just the unnaturalness of it that makes them feel uncomfortable to me when I test them. I think it's the scissors themselves. They're not as rounded or smooth as my right handed adult molded handle Fiskars, so the rubbing on my thumb that I'm feeling is possibly from that cause. Certainly they do not fit naturally to my left hand the way my adult Fiskars do to my right one. They "feel" big on my thumb, though I cannot for the life of me figure out why. They seem to be sized the same as the handle on my righties in a side by side comparison.... So I'm going to have to chalk it up to there being a seam in the middle of the thumb handle on these that the Fiskars don't have. They certainly work, but I feel like I wouldn't want to use them for a long period of time.Overall, the 9 year old says they're 4 star.
