I’m kind of a tech nerd so I needed a laptop that met very specific requirements. Ryzen 8000 series CPU, fast 16GB DDR5 memory, 1TB SSD, a touch screen with pen input supported, backlit keyboard, SD card slot, fingerprint reader, etc. The whole package!! I’m very happy I got exactly what I got, and since my last Lenovo laptop lasted me 7 years I’m sure this one will last a long time too. Very happy with how fast this shipped as well.

Good computer. There was an issue with it out of the box that the seller helped me with as much as they could, I ended up sending it to Lenovo and they said there was an issue with the motherboard and they replaced it for free, bc of the warranty. It's not the sellers fault, just a one off thing that happened. Now that it's fixed I would recommend this product. Also, it does come with the pen, you just have to ask for it.

The seller 1. Forgot to send rhe pen and it took almost a week to get a solution. Also the description is wrong, this is not a 14in laptop. More like 16. It's a good laptop just don't purchase from this seller.

I previously had a 2017-model Ideapad flex 4 with a Core i7. When I had to give it up I decided to replace it with this Ideapad 5.Compared to the Ideapad 4...Pluses: * The keyboard is improved and more comfortable to type on. * Battery life is much improved. * With the Ryzen 5700, performance is much better, as I expected. * USB-C PD charging on this model adds more options. Also has legacy DC-in jack. * USB3.2 Gen 1 supportMinuses: * No Ethernet jack. That said, the jack on my old machine broke.So far, so good. Should be a workhorse to last for some time.
