REV IT HARD

Making its return, the newest RedLine is developed for maximum power. The clutch heel cup really pushes the foot forward and the aggressive twist makes sure the foot stays aggressive.

The flex is afforded to the foot with the lack of the traditional midsole, to give climbers better feel to go with the power upper.

TECH SPECS:

  • Patented Concave Sole
  • 3D Expandable Molded Heel
  • Clutch Heel Strap
  • Science Friction 3.0
  • Vegan-Friendly
  • Asymmetrical
Redline Floating

Shining in steep roof climbing with small feet, this iteration of RedLine also features a new strap closure to help the heel really lock in the forefoot. Thinner rubber at the toe is both sensitive and sticky.

Sizing Chart

Upsize 1 full size to find your US size

General Rule of Thumb for beginners:

  • Comfortable is too large
  • Painful is too tight
  • Uncomfortable is perfect

The most important factor to consider when choosing any rock shoes is finding a pair that fits well. Remember that leather upper shoes are likely to stretch over time (mostly in lateral width), while lined and synthetic upper shoes are not likely to stretch much at all.

Climbing shoe sizing varies from brand to brand and, just to confuse the issue, often from model to model within a brand. Use numerical sizes purely as a guideline. As a rule of thumb, the level of shoe discomfort increases proportionately to an increase in climbing "level". This is primarily a result of molding the foot into as firm and precise an appendage as possible in an effort to eliminate "roll" (due mainly to weak feet or the shoe is too big and rolling around your foot) and increase sensitivity (sensual feedback) and pinpoint control.

It looks used even though I bought new and the shoe sizing is a few sizes too small.

The most comfortable aggressive shoe I have found, yet also the best performing and longest lasting!I got a pair of these 10 months ago and they still climb good as new with no signs of giving out. I have a decent rotation of other shoes that I use so they certainly didn't get all of my mileage, but they have been by my most used pair of weapons since they were added to my arsenal, and it's not a close race at all. They can smear, they can toe/heel hook, they can edge, and they work just as well indoors or outdoors. I wear a size 10.5 in them, and I also wear a 10.5 in the drone LVs. I wear a size 10 for my street shoes which are exclusively Xero shoes.

These shoes fit my foot perfectly! I wore a 7.5 in Evolv Agros and got the same size in these. I've always had a little dead space in my arch, but not in the Redlines. The heel fits perfectly... I've been cramming my feet in climbing shoes for 18 years and I've never had the heel of a shoe fit as well as this one does. It wont budge on any heel hooks. The toe is pretty narrow and covered with rubber, so they work well in pockets and for toe hooks, bicycles and toe cams. Personally, I like to really be able to feel the rock/hold through my shoe so I know I've placed it exactly where I want. The Redlines, especially after some wear, do exactly that.If I'm bringing one pair of shoes with me to the crag, it's these ones.
