I've been looking for a replacement motor for almost a year. All I could find was used motors, so it was very surprising to find someone selling new ones. I didn't really believe they were new, but ordered one anyway. I have to say, it really did look new, not just a well cleaned used one. However, when I installed it & turned it on, it made a horrible noise, almost like grinding metal. It also had very little suction. So,I'm returning it, & my search continues...

Motor was an exact fit for my Shark vacuum. It words great. Saved me a lot of money verses replacing the entire vacuum. Vacuum now works like new. Would take this approach again in the future should I need to replace another vacuum motor. Although I have an older Shark vacuum that is no longer available, I like the design and preferred replacing the motor versus buying a newer one that wasn't as versatile of a design.
