The rack is well constructed and it works well. My only problem is that I was using it with two hobie outback kayaks and I needed the arms to have 36" of length to properly hold the kayaks.. They were about 4 to5 inches short. I used some 3" PVC pipe to go over the arms to give me the added length. The rack is great
