Makes fermenting so much cleaner and easier, I just throw these in the dishwasher. Also easy to grip and remove lids! Love, will be getting wise mouth also!

I use these with the silicone sip insert. Prefer these over the metal ring. They're easy to clean, so far no leaking.

I needed plastic rings for my mason jars because I just got a mesh lid for growing sprouts. They work great, it's nice not worrying about rust.

No rusty rings! I use wide mouth mason jars for storing food in both my fridge and pantry. These can be washed over and over and no issues! Win win.

I use mason jars/food saver to ration out my batch juicing session. Like the other users write, it's hard to keep the normal metal bands from rusting. The Masontops bands are just big enough to give you a good grip and I'm not afraid to leave them in the dish rack to dry. They've gone through a few iterations and still perform just as well as their metal predecessors. There was some verbiage/warning regarding boiling like some people do when canning in their mason jars. I bet the bands will get brittle with repeating boiling and so I am a little dubious when it comes to putting the Masontops in the dishwasher.Nevertheless, I don't plan to expose the bands to high heat so if they ever go on sale, I'm replacing all of my metal ones.

Was looking for something so I could use my mason jars as spice jars and this works perfect to hold the spice top on! I love it! 🙂

These are so nice and easy to put on and take off. The plastic, with it's multiple flat sides, makes screwing them on/off so very simple and easy.

Have used these bands in the past and because they are plastic the don’t rust like the metal bands when fermenting. Unfortunately, these were shipped with another item in an envelope which got ripped at some point during shipping and the box containing the bands fell out. At least the other item was large enough that it didn’t get lost as well. Amazon refunded me for the missing item and I will be re-ordering the bands in the near future. Hopefully this time they use a box instead of an envelope. To be clear, this was not the fault of the seller as it was Amazon who packaged and shipped the items. This is also the first time something like this has happened and they were quick to issue a refund so it is all good.

Great sturdy lid sides that fit regular mason jars. I use with 'pickle pipes' for salt pickling or a round piece of plastic embroidery mesh for sprouting beans/seeds (as metal mesh lids always seem to rust).
