I recently purchased this heat shrink tubing set, and overall, I’m very satisfied with its performance and versatility. The shrinking wire tubes worked for what I purchased them for to protect a soldered wire splice. The heat from a Bic lighter worked well to shrink the tube onto the wire. They come in a range of diameters.

Shrink wrap causes tubes to be flat and difficult to apply. Seems ok once installed.

I bought this just to do a splice on 2 very small wires and figured I only needed one size so I was hesitant to purchase this because of all the different sizes I didn't feel I would need. I'm glad I did because it turns out I actually needed 2 different sizes to do the job, one to protect one wire and the other to protect both the wires. It worked just great using a heat gun and there are plenty to keep in stock and having all the different sizes means you'll have whatever you need when the time comes. Great price so it was a great value.
