"A drop of Honey makes your drums sound sweet". Meinl drum Honey instantly transforms your drum sounds into a warm and sweet tone with practically no effort. They can be removed from any surface as needed. Vital for session drummers and studio engineers as well as being used in houses of worship and venues where sound control is needed. Drum Honey is washable by using a drop of dish soap and water. Let them air dry (no direct sunlight), and their stickiness will recover. The Meinl drum Honey is Non-Toxic.

We needed something to dampen the sound of the cymbals at our church. You can tell the difference before and after. They are easy to stick on and take off. They don’t take away from the sound of the cymbal but help control the volume.

My husband said these are his absolute favorite. He said moon gel as he’s previously used melts/breakdown into a very goopy sticky mess and this one doesn’t, while still doing what it’s supposed to do

Did a great job of taming my 12" Gretsch Brooklyn tom. I'm using a Remo ambassador on the batter and resonate heads. I use one on top and one on the bottom (impressed it has stayed).

Plenty of sticky little dots in this pack to add mass to one's bang-on-it-with-a-stick cylinders. I've mostly used the smaller these an inch or two from the rim of toms (sometimes top, sometimes bottom, sometimes both) to shorten sustain and knock down high overtones when my single-ply heads are too "ringy".These are as useful of a way to activate higher overtones for tuning as they are for quelling higher overtones for tone adjustment. One of these days I'll get out the spectrograph software and see what they're actually doing, but my ears are enjoying what I think they're doing for me.It's easy to move these around on a drum to experiment with adjusting overtones / sustain. So far I haven't had one fall off, despite moving them a lot for initial experimentation, nor (consequently) felt a need to give them a rinse, which I read is how you rejuvenate these. I'm especially digging putting them on the bottom head of low-tuned floor toms.I place the smallest of these dead center on each tom during tuning as well, which effectively accentuates high overtones and knocks down the fundamental pitch of the head -- I personally find it easier to tune each tension rod listening to higher overtones, especially on big floor toms.#protip: if you find these sticking to your fingers instead of the drum, use the plastic separators from the package between the dot and your finger and also sort of massage the dot into the head in a circular fashion during application. The dot will sort of spread out amoeba-like, but once it's on the head, the plastic separator can be peeled off and the dot will gather itself up over the course of several seconds.

Works very well on higher drums like the snare and medium tom, and on cymbals. No discernible difference on lower drums. Very easy to apply and adjust.

I don't know how many times I'll be able to stick, unstick, and reuse these. So far they seem like they will hold up for a while, as long as I don't get them too dirty.

These worked fantastic! After years of our drummer hitting the snare while the rest of were trying to tune then just hitting it too hard during practice,we finally had just the product to simmer him down. His face turned beat red when he realized that our singer's eye no longer twinges as the high beat bore through our brains to cause instant migraines. He was going to have to work for a change and hold a beat. The rest of the band found them fantastic, we could still hear the drums while playing but didn't have to turn our maps and the PA to max volume. He wasn't so sure and vocally said so,they interfered with "his sound" which happened to be so much better after applying them. A big bonus was the ability to remove them and apply them to his car windows so he would not forget them next time around, he was so excited that he spun tires and raced away flipping us the bird.
