Fix and fit compares well to the original. Mind you it's not exactly complicated piece of equipment. It's a piece of flat metal with four holes in it and four screws but I'm very happy with it

I was building my own guitar and body and neck were only bonded with wood glue. I didn't feel that was sufficient so this plate gives me peice of mind knowing it will not come apart.

Neckplate arrived scratched and tarnished. It was turned inward in the packaging, so the condition wasn't visible until it was opened.

Many of these aftermarket plates are super thin and have short, narrow screws. These are solidly made with good sized screws. I was going from chrome to black fittings and I was afraid I would have to use the old chrome screws but I was pleasantly surprised.
