This review is mostly about delivery and initial quality. Item arrived as described, and in a timely manner. I was a little worried about build quality because of the price, but I am very satisfied. Size, fit, workability and MOST important to me; the key fits and works perfectly! Recommended value for these reasons.Now. Will it last for a few years? Time will tell.

Overall, it was easy to use and it fits the trailer well. It is secure and not loose. It comes with a set of 2 keys so need to worry about not finding the keys to unlock it.

I think it’s a good deterrent to keep your trailer from getting stolen. It should at least slow someone down or make a fair amount of noise if they do decide to get the product off.

For the price point it’s very durable. I didn’t wanna spend $300 on a 80 pound coupler lock so I went with the affordable version and read the reviews on this one in which I decided to go this route.The red coated metal U lock is very thick for its size and would probably take 10 to 15 minutes of metal grinding with the grinder to get it off so it would wake the neighborhood up which is my intention. If someone’s gonna steal a trailer, they’re gonna sell a trailer, but this might scare them away.

This lock is very robust and looks awesome too. Recommend.Update, after being in use for a week or two, lock was frozen, even with cap on. Had to melt with heat gun. Needs a better cap.Update #2: Sealed key area, and still froze up, had to use the heat gun again. Not using, disappointed. Getting a different one.
