I really like the WIERSS Microphone Hard Case for its overall durability and molded foam padding inside. Although it technically isn't a hard shell case by my standards like a hard shell guitar or flight case, it is very well made and thickly padded enough to protect your best mics and accessories that go with them. The zippers on the WIERSS Microphone Hard Case are very sturdy and I don't anticipate any trouble with them for some time to come.There is also a zippered pouch inside the case for storing short cable runs, XLR connector accessories and other mic related items in general. It's a nice touch that some of my other mic cases do not have.The WIERSS Microphone Hard Case is rugged and durable enough that it should prevent major shock to the mics if the case is accidentally dropped. The easy to hold case handle is securely stitched and reinforced enough where it won't easily deteriorate from everyday wear and tear. The entire case is well built!While I do not presently have the exact JBL mics the WIERSS Microphone Hard Case is designed for, there are several mics I do have that fit nice and snug, keeping them safe and dust free. The nice thing about the WIERSS Microphone Hard Case is that it also fits nicely in one of my equipment flight cases. I can't stress enough the importance of keeping equipment like mics properly in a case, and the WIERSS Microphone Hard Case will let you do just that! Too many cases is never enough.I feel the price point of the WIERSS Microphone Hard Case is very fair in comparison to many other similar cases. An ideal gift for the musician in your life who needs to keep their mics safe from damage. I highly recommend the WIERSS Microphone Hard Case!5 Stars!

This case is great, but at 10", the mics we have from the PylePro system are too long to fit. Good for mics 9" or shorter. For that reason, this mic case gets 4 stars.
