The console is a little noisy, and the controller doesn't completely work, the right toggle only works going to the left and the plus shaped buttons only work going up and down. The console does work but for the price I think your better off getting a newer one.

After my own xbox 360 elite disk drive died on me, I was hesitant to find a way to replace it. I decided it would be easier and faster to purchase a new unit, cue being paranoid of where to shop and who to trust. After receiving the item I only noticed a few things, which since it was a used system it was overall in great condition. Only a little bit of dust was seen on the back of the fan blades and the left thumb stick of the controller was used a lot.Upon opening the box and first inspecting the bundle, I did notice there was enough packaging to prevent anything from sliding around or causing damage. Cables (HDMI and Power) were wrapped with rubber bands and kept tidy as was the power cord on the psu brick. All components worked and the sound of the fans from the system was much better than my dying system. I was not all to concerned about the condition of the controller as I had previously gotten a wired controller from a local game stop due to my batteries not holding a charge any more and my controller thumb sticks being warped and worn down.The main thing I was looking at was the disk drive, it was in working order of opening and closing on its own without needing a disk in the drive (my other xbox required a disk to open otherwise I had to use a paper clip to open the thing) and the laser was able to read game disks and dvd movies just fine. Overall with the condition and the features I was looking at working as they should be, I am happy with this purchase. I like the price I needed something good so I bought a Xbox 360 I had Nintendo Wii U and I got board so I bought this it worked good came with all the cables and thing but the disc input didn’t work so I had to open it with some nail sissers overall good product

Even though the Xbox 360 was used that didn't mean it was a risky buy. I purchased it from Amazon's Warehouse category. It looks brand new and works perfectly, so far every game I have put into it has played flawlessly. I wasn't expecting much to since it was only $60 and some other reviews were saying that they only got the console but it depends on who you get it from. I got a great deal and was surprised to find that it came with the console, power supply, hard drive, component video cables, an Ethernet cable, and a headset adapter cable for when you connect using HDMI and you want to use an audio headset. (It did NOT come with an HDMI cable, but i wasn't expecting one).

Only one hitch which reduces this from a 5 to a 4 in that the power cable easily pops out and usually when players get over excited and bounce it out!!! Probably the only issue of buying something that is used. Otherwise pretty happy thanks

I received an American xbox 360 system which is does not work in the uk ( which is unsatisfactory seeing as I purchased this off the uk website). I received a miss match of cables also including one American and one uk charging cable which are useless together. The xbox was poorly packaged and included a receipt showcasing £70 pounds of purchases from a Tesco store and was covered in a soot like substance. Overall extremely disappointed and now have an xbox which I am unable to use!

I was very happy to find a 360 Elite online that was actually in stock and at a great price after they've been discontinued. I had an old 120 GB HDD that I purchased from a friend and I didn't want it to go to waste or tell him that I need my money back because the newer 360 units use a completely different HDD; I didn't want to have to spend upwards of $300 for a console with enough storage space to download numerous XBLA titles and install quite a few full retail games. I wanted to replace my console so I could play the games that I didn't have a chance to play when my last console failed, to play the console games that aren't ported to PC, and my last console was not HDMI capable.Admittedly, I was a bit nervous about buying a refurbished console since 360s are so notorious for failures, but I was pleasantly surprised that the console arrived after only two days and it has worked great so far. Only issue that I can think of off-hand is that sometimes the console will lock up and I have to disconnect the AC adapter so I can restart the console, but I've had that issue in the past and it doesn't occur very often, so I can overlook it.One thing I would note for people when the console arrives is that it may be white instead of black. When I saw a white console in my package, I was really concerned that the seller sent me the wrong console. I checked the back of the unit and it does the HDMI port, so it is still an Elite regardless of color; I never knew that Elites were available in white. Honestly, it works out better this way because it matches the white stand that I have. If you see a white 360 when you open your package, don't panic like I did.All in all, it's been great so far and I'm happy that I went with EZCORP.

I haven't bought anything from this seller before and from the reviews it seemed fine but I would recommend anyone buying from this seller make sure you have a way to return it. The xbox works fine except for a few key issues, first of all it came with no hard drive but at first I thought I got one without it but no I ordered a 120 GB and received no hard drive I do hope this was just a mix up and they give me one soon I contacted the seller but so far nothing back. Another major issue is that it seems I can't connect to xbox live with this xbox, at first I though it was the modem so I restarted it, still nothing, I made sure all my settings were correct, they were, then I plugged the cord into my computer worked fine and I'm even writing this review with the same cord connected. I spent years learning about computers, electronics etc and I wouldn't write this unless I was sure it was the xbox. In my opinion it's not worth it for all these problems this is why I usually buy this stuff at stores, won't make that mistake again.

On top of being an excellent console for real gamers ( there is no knitting simulation or other rubbish here see Wii !!!) Is the ability to stream high definition from your XP based PC, that is using the WMV high definition format.To the writer that believes that the XBOX 360 is intrinsically tied to the Toshiba HD format, you are naive at best my friend!!!True the HD add on for the Xbox 360 is not worth much now so I would not buy this, must remember that the XBOX 360 is affectively a powerful PC so format support is largely dependant on codecs installed etc.In summary the high def WMV format is absolutely superb together with the seamless integration with your home PC, giving you more than just a gamer experience.

This is my pov on the elite, it is quiter compared to the earlier models of 360, it also kicks out a lot less heat which means i worry less about it dying on me within the next year. The noise is due to the dvd drive, it spins constantly at high speed while playing games but is a lot quieter when watching dvd's or watching/playing something on the hard drive.Come Nov 17 2008 the new dashboard update will allow you to save your games to the hard drive which will cut out the noisey dvd.The elite is a lot better looking than the white box plus 120gb hd will be soon used up when the new update comes which means those of us who own a 120gb hd will soon be moaning for a larger hd from ms.I'm very pleased with my elite and cant wait for the update. I'll never buy a white 360 again.Once you've had black, you'll never go back.
